Widescreen in Kotor2

So, I will describe how i am currently set up then then explain how i got widescreen.... hopefully i can help some of you.

I am set up with an AMD graphics card and hooked up to my LG tv by HDMI. I run at 720p 1920x1080 resolution, and my aspect ratio in TV options set to 16:9.

After a bit of poking around in the KotoR 2 options and noticing it always hold 4:3 aspect ratio I though of a different approach. I went into my catalyst control panel, Selected "My Digital Flat lPanel", Selected "Properties", and lastly i turned off "GPU scaling" which from what i remember of previous tinkering is a default option that doesn't seem to do much unless you are in a wierd resolution.

That is all i did the next time i booted up KotoR 2 it streched the game to the edges of my screen and changing the in game resolution just changes quality and not size.
