26-Skull Corpse Preparation

Guide created from some research, but mainly from my own experience I got playing the game. If you know of any new combinations to prepare a body, please share it with us. Jusgestions are very welcome, as well as some corrections.

This Guide is intended to show you how to get the most on corpses, leaving them as high quality as possible. In the base game (without the DLC's Game of Crones and Better Save Soul) it is possible to reach the quality up to 13x in the corpses. With the Game of Crones DLC it is possible to reach the quality of the corpse up to 16x. With the Better Save Soul DLC it is possible to reach the quality of the corpse up to 26x. How does the relationship between skulls and Each corpse is composed of red skulls and white skulls, as shown in the image to the side. The objective is to take out all the red skulls and add as much white skull. The white and red skulls appear with a plus (+) or minus (-) sign in the parts that are inside the corpse. Each corpse comes with some fixed items inside, which appear on all bodies and which always have the same value of white skulls and red skulls, namely:

• Blood +, -.
  
• Bone - Not possible status.
  
• Fat +, -.
  
• Flesh +.
  
• Skin -, +.
  
• Skull -.

The Brain , Dark Brain , Heart , Dark Heart , Intestine, Dark Intestine organs have the status of randomly generated and , whether positive or negative. What determines the number of and in a corpse is the subtraction of + with -, from their parts that are part of the corpse. The same goes for . For example, a corpse has 4 Red Skulls and 6 White Skulls. Besides the parts that always come in the body, the random organs of this corpse are: Brain -2, +3; Dark Heart +4, +1; Intestine +2, +2. Now add up the total negative Red Skulls from all parts of the corpse: -4. Adds the total of positive Red Skulls from all parts of the corpse:+8 Subtracts negative Red Skulls from positive Red Skulls:
+8 -4 = 4. Same procedure for White Skulls:
-2 +8 = +6.

Embalming Injections are very important for the preparation of corpses. Each type of injection has a different effect. Are:

• Lye Injection : +, +
  
• Glue Injection : +
  
• Silver Injection : -, +
  
• Gold Injection : -2, +2
  
• Dark Injection : +2
  
• Acid Injection : -, -
  
• Restore Injection : It is used on the Embalming Table to restore 50% of a corpse's decomposition.
  
• Preservative Injection : It is used at the Embalming Table to halt body decay.

Dark Injection and Acid Injection are not interesting for those looking for cadavers with the maximum possible quality, so we don't use them.

Once applied to Lye Injection , Glue Injection , Silver Injection and Gold Injection will remove three and add one ; totaling the removal of two . And will be added to the corpse four .

Only the base game (Without Game of Crone DLC and Better Save Soul DLC) Regarding , it is possible to add up to 5x with embalming, and up to 2x with autopsy, for a total of 7x. That means it takes a corpse with at least 5x to reach 12x. And with a corpse with 6x to reach 13x. Relative to , it is possible to subtract 3x with embalming (while adding 1x) and subtract 2x by autopsy, offsetting 4x. That means a corpse with no more than 4x is required to hit 12x. Brain , Heart , Intestine - are sources of and , their properties are randomly generated. Use the sermon prayer Prayer for repose for Donkey to bring you better quality corpses, with more and . Preferably use the Gold Star Quality which provides a longer duration of the effect.

Baseline

These two cases are the starting point for excellence. In some cases, when the cadaver does not match these initial characteristics, it is possible to change the cadaver to reach this point.

Start with a 4R/5W corpse

1. Perform a Lye injection.
   
2. Perform a Glue injection.
   
3. Perform a Silver injection.
   
4. Perform a Gold injection.
   
5. Remove the Fat.
   
6. Remove the Blood.

Start with a 4R/6W corpse

1. Perform a Lye injection.
   
2. Perform a Glue injection. (Optional; 13x)
   
3. Perform a Silver injection.
   
4. Perform a Gold injection.
   
5. Remove the Fat.
   
6. Remove the Blood.

There are many possible body spawns, some are able to reach the Baseline.

Starting with a 3R/5W corpse

1. Remove the Skull.
   
2. Follow 'Baseline' above.

Starting with a 6R/5W corpse

1. Remove a -2 - Brain , Heart , Intestine .
   
2. Follow 'Baseline' above.

Starting with a 5R/5W corpse

1. Remove a -2 - Brain , Heart , Intestine .
   
2. Remove the Skull.
   
3. Follow 'Baseline' above.

Regarding the , it is possible to add up to 5x with embalming, and up to 11x with necropsy, totaling 16x. Brain , Heart , Intestine - are sources of and , their properties are randomly generated. Dark Brain , Dark Heart , Dark Intestine - it doesn't matter to us, when they appear to replace them. The Game of Crone DLC brought even more possibilities for dealing with corpses. It is possible to add higher quality organs, allowing for a 16x quality corpse. You will need to store organs with this quality:

• -2+3
  
• +3+3

Use the sermon prayer Prayer for repose for Donkey to bring you better quality corpses, with more and . Preferably use the Gold Star Quality which provides a longer duration of the effect.

Follow the instructions below for corpse starting with:

• Corpse with 34;
  
• Corpse with 35;
  
• Corpse with 42;
  
• Corpse with 43;
  
• Corpse with 44;
  
• Corpse with 45;
  
• Corpse with 46;
  
• Corpse with 53;
  
• Corpse with 54;
  
• Corpse with 55;
  
• Corpse with 64.

Do these instructions to reach 16x-Skull:

1. Perform a Lye injection.
   
2. Perform a Glue injection
   
3. Perform a Silver injection.
   
4. Perform a Gold injection.
   
5. Remove the Fat.
   
6. Remove the Blood.

After the above actions, the cadaver will have 0x 7x - although the cadaver's status shows 0x, by the internal parts the cadaver has -4 (ignoring the influences of the organs : Brain or Dark Brain , Heart or Dark Heart and Intestine or Dark Intestine ). The goal is to add +9 to the three Organs and add a maximum of +4 or less (subtract ).

The next table shows all the possible combinations to arrive at a corpse with 16x quality.

Regarding , it is possible to add up to 5x with embalming for a total of 21x. Regarding it is possible to subtract 3x with embalming (when adding 1x). Brain , Heart , Intestine - are sources of and , their properties are randomly generated. Dark Brain , Dark Heart , Dark Intestine - cannot be modified in the Organ Workbench, so they must be replaced with healthy organs. The Better Save Soul DLC brought even more possibilities. It is possible to add skulls and to the organs, Flesh , Skin , Blood and Fat , making it possible to leave a corpse with quality 26x. The secret is to edit the amount of in the organs, Brain , Heart and Intestine , adding as much as possible, the limit is three and the minimum possible of . Use the Organ Workbench to make the changes. The organs, Brain , Heart and Intestine come naturally with one of these qualities:

• Organ with the quality: -2+3;
  
• Organ with the quality: +3+3;
  
• Organ with the quality: +1;
  
• Organ with the quality: +2;
  
• Organ with the quality: +1+1;
  
• Organ with the quality: +2-1;
  
• Organ with the quality: +2;
  
• Organ with the quality: +2+1;
  
• Organ with the quality: +2+2.

After modifying the organs in the Organ Workbench, they have the following qualities that are interesting to use:

• Organ with the quality: -2+3
  
• Organ with the quality: +3+3
  
• Organ modified with quality:+3
  
• Organ modified with quality:+1+3
  
• Organ modified with quality:+2+3

Sin Shard is a very important item in the Better Save Soul DLC, that's why we've improved the parts that come inside the corpses. Each corpse with a 1x Harmed Soul . If left inside chests, corpses, etc., it will become 1x Sin Shard . This way of acquiring Sin Shard is not good, because it yields few Sin Shard . Use the Harmed Soul on the Soul Healer workbench with the extensions to acquire as many Sin Shards as possible. Harmed Soul when used on the Soul Healer workbench will generate 4 or 7 Sin Shards . Use the sermon Pray for Soul's Thorough Cleansing to double the possibilities, generating 8 or 14 Sin Shards . Preferably use the Gold Star Quality which provides a longer duration of the effect. Sin Shards are used to modify the parts that come inside the corpses - Blood , Fat , Skin , Flesh , Brain , Heart and Instine . This modification is made on the Organ Bench. The Organ Bench only adds and . It is not possible to remove or . So it is not interesting to add . We just added . Each body part can be added up to 3x and 3x. If a body part already has 3x and 3x you cannot modify it.

• Costs 2x Sin Shards to upgrade -1 to 0;
  
• Costs 2x Sin Shards to upgrade 0 to +1;
  
• Costs 3x Sin Shards to upgrade +1 to +2;
  
• It costs 4x Sin Shards to upgrade +2 to +3.

That is to say, it costs 11 Sin Shards to upgrade 1x Blood or 1x Fat . 7 Sin Shards to upgrade 1x Flesh or 1x Skin . In total it costs 36 Sin Shards to upgrade these corpse parts.

Sin Shard is a very important resource, you need to spend as little as possible. To reach a corpse with 26x it is necessary to use organs (Brain , Heart and Intestine ) with 3x and preferably the minimum possible of . These organs come with varying qualities, some qualities are better than others. Store organs in good quality for later use. Cost to modify the organs and make it +3:

• Organ with the quality -2+3: 0 Sin Shard ;
  
• Organ with the quality +3+3: 0 Sin Shard ;
  
• Organ with the quality +1: 7 Sin Shards ;
  
• Organ with the quality +2: 4 Sin Shards ;
  
• Organ with the quality +1+1: 7 Sin Shards ;
  
• Organ with the quality +2-1: 11 Sin Shards ;
  
• Organ with the quality +2: 9 Sin Shards ;
  
• Organ with the quality +2+1: 7 Sin Shards ;
  
• Organ with the quality +2+2: 4 Sin Shards .

The best organs to store are the ones that have the qualities -2+3: and +3+3, as they come naturally with +3, not needing to spend Sin Shards . Organs with quality +2 are the interesting ones to modify, as they cost only 4 Sin Shards and don't add any . Organs with quality +2+2 are also interesting to store, they have a low cost to modify, only 4 Sin Shards . Only downside is the addition of +2 , but it can be combined with other organ qualities without harming the corpse. Organs with quality +1, +1+1, +2 and +2+1 are not very interesting to store, as the cost to modify them is 7 Sin Shards and some of them even add . It is good to avoid storing these organs. Organs with the quality +2-1 is the worst quality to modify, as it is necessary to spend 11 Sin Shards , very high cost and still adds +2. Avoid storing this kind of quality organs.

Follow the instructions below for corpse starting with:

• Corpse with 3/4;
  
• Corpse with 3/5;
  
• Corpse with 4/2;
  
• Corpse with 4/3;
  
• Corpse with 4/4;
  
• Corpse with 4/5;
  
• Corpse with 4/6;
  
• Corpse with 5/3;
  
• Corpse with 5/4;
  
• Corpse with 5/5;
  
• Corpse with 6/4.

Do these instructions to reach 26x-Skull:

1. Perform a Lye injection.
   
2. Perform a Glue injection.
   
3. Perform a Silver injection.
   
4. Perform a Gold injection.
   
5. Remove the Fat, add until you get a total of 3 and put it on the corpse again.
   
6. Remove the Blood, add until you get a total of 3 and put it on the corpse again.
   
7. Remove the Flesh, add until you get a total of 3 and put it on the corpse again.
   
8. Remove the Skin, add until you get a total of 3 and put it on the corpse again.

After the above actions, the cadaver will have 0x 17x - although the cadaver's status shows 0x, by the internal parts the cadaver has -2 (ignoring the influences of the organs : Brain or Dark Brain , Heart or Dark Heart and Intestine or Dark Intestine ). The objective is to add +9 to the three Organs and add a maximum of +2 or less (subtract ).

The next table shows all the possible combinations to arrive at a corpse with 26x quality.

I think it might be interesting to show how I calculated all possible combinations for the organs (Brain , Heart , Intestine ).

Arrangement with Repetition

Arrangement with Repetition is one of the formulas used in Combinatorial Analysis. It is used when the order of the event elements is important, each element can be counted more than once.

Formula:

• An,k = n^k

Where:

• An,k: arrangement with repetition;
  
• n: total event elements;
  
• k: number of elements chosen from the event.

Calculating the number of combinations for the Game the Crone DLC: We have the following data:

• A = {-2+3 and +3+3};
  
• n = 2;
  
• k = 3.

Therefore,

• A2,3 = 2^3 = 8

8 possible combinations, but one of these combinations exceeds the limit of allowed, so I left it out of the table.

Calculating the number of combinations for the Better Save Soul DLC:

We have the following data:

• A = {-2+3, +3+3, +3, +1+3 and +2+3};
  
• n = 5;
  
• k = 3.

Therefore,

• A5,3 = 5^3 = 125

125 possible combinations, but 63 of those combinations exceeded the limit of allowed, so I left those off the table.

Note the small increase in event elements from one DLC to another, the number of possible combinations has exponentially increased.
