Achievement Guide Firewatch
Secret Achievements
Achievements
All of this Achievements are not tied to the narrative part of the game. You can unlock them in one play through or you can unlock them in the free-roam mode. (Achievements might not work in free-roam for you)
down the path (headed toward cache 241), you will see a backpack hanging on a tree.
Knock it down and grab the items in it. One of the items is a disposable camera.
Use up the remaining pictures to unlock the achievement.
For this Achievement there are a few locations where you can find the turtle. I listed some of them. Keep in mind that a turtle will not always be present at the locations listed below. These are just some of the locations. Once you find a turtle, make sure you report it to Delilah and adopt it to bring it with you.
Thorofare Trail
The first location you can check is along the Thorofare Trail. You start at the Two Forks Tower. Head southeast along the trail. Before the path curves to he left look for an opening in the fence leading to another trail. Follow down this trail.
You will pass by a fallen log that you can either hop over or walk around. At the end of the path, look for a turtle sitting on a rock just in front of the rockslide. Pick up the turtle, and report it to Delilah to give it a name. Make sure to press Hold to adopt the turtle as your new pet companion.
Jonesy Lake
On Day 1 the Game wants you to travel to Jonesy Lake. Head to the supply cache 305. Open it and copy the Map information to update your Map. Continue north of the supply cache. Look for a flat rock close to the lake. With luck, there may be a turtle on top.
Beartooth Point
On Day 2, you have to travel north to Beartooth Point to inspect the communication wire. With luck the turtle will be near the supply cache 302 sitting on a Rock.
This can be completed on Day 77 or in the free-roam mode. Head north toward Beartooth Point. The trail will split and after the split, look for an old outhouse that is falling apart. From the outhouse, head east and look for an old cabin that is falling apart. Once you´re inside, turn on your flashlight, head downstairs and open the old stove. A raccoon should jump out and the achievement will be unlocked.
This can be completed as early as Day 77. Once you have retrieved the new walkie-talkie from Cottonwood Creek, head back to the gate near Wapiti Station that you encountered during the previous day. Open the gate and right in front of you will be a box on pole that says Wapiti. Open it, a bee will fly out and sting you, and the achievement will unlock.
When you start Day 77, head north toward Beartooth Point. About halfway there (between the words "Thorofare Trail" and "Telephone"), the trail splits once and then again. At the first split, head left and search in the western area for bushes you can push aside and then roots you can use your axe on. In this area is the recording. The achievement unlocks when you keep the tape.
