Achievements guide for Hike (NEW LEVEL)

At the beginning of the level you will fall in a house and smash the staircase. This achievement is for getting the barrel sitting outside the house into the cellar beside it.

To start: In the yellow hallway of the house there is a shelf with a mallet on it, we will need this. Pull open the door into this hallway, walk through it into a small blue room that has a ladder inside.
(Note- if you are a solid wall climber, you can grab the shelf and swing to grab the mallet without needing the ladder)

Take this ladder back into the yellow room, you will see the shelf beside the first door we opened. Take the mallet from the shelf into the room directly facing us (you will need to open another door) and there is a mattress inside, grab and move the bed to reveal the trapdoor underneath.

Use the mallet to smash the lock on the trapdoor. Once broken, open the trapdoor and (carefully!) drop down. Jump the large gap in the floor and you are in the cellar, throwing a barrel or two will allow access to the door at the far end of the room.
Rip the plank off the door to open it from the inside. (You may need to pull a few times to yank it off) After this drag the outdoor barrel through the doorway, I recommend doing this lengthwise to let it roll down the stairs.
Achievement should pop at the bottom of the stairs! (Right where the barrel is in the last photo)

Progress through the level until you reach the campfire past the rope bridge.
(I may add a full tutorial for this level in the future, this is my first guide so just achievements to start!)
There should be a torch sitting in the fire. Grab it, and take it on an adventure up the hill to your right, there are two different entrances for the same cave. Either path works! Turning left and walking uphill will take you to the upper entrance (there is an orange flashlight beside it), jumping the rock and walking further uphill will take you to the lower.

Once inside, this cave system has multiple paths. After walking far enough in you'll see the cave fork into three paths. For this achievement, take the path UP the flow of water. It will be different depending which path you took. Don't worry about dropping the torch here or drowning, the flame stays lit underwater and it stays shallow :)

When the path opens, use your torch to melt the large ice piece to the right of the waterfall, there will be a white silhouette inside. When the ice is gone achievement should pop here. Congrats!

This achievement is fairly straightforward, but may take a few attempts. Progress through the level until you take a zipline down towards a little cottage with a Human statue beside it.
The glacier is down the stairs to the left. The goal is do 3 laps around the glacier in under 60 seconds, go as fast as possible without falling off.


I found aiming at the inner wall when I rounded corners to be super helpful, if you're familiar with the sliding mechanics in the game it shouldn't take too long. Achievement should pop by the stairs, on the 3rd lap.

The last achievement is as usual, for finishing the full level :)
