The design targets a 3-dupe crew.
The cabin is pressurized with high-pressure oxygen at its maximum safe level.
This enables long-duration spaceflight, at the cost of the popped eardrums debuff (≈20% stress/cycle) caused by pressures above 4 kg/tile.
The internal hallspace footprint is 32 tiles — the minimum for the Banquet Hall bonus +6.
Depending on tech progression, the rehydrator can be replaced by a fridge.
The bunk-ladder layout functions as an integrated ladder, saving one vertical tile.
The toilet is placed behind the entrance door, and the shower can effectively replace a hand sanitizer.
The atmosuit dock
The atmosuit dock must be used manually and can refill three suits, making it practical for exploration outposts or short EVA missions. You may want to remove suits during flight.
- Deliver suit
- Undock suit
- Click the tile and select the filled suit (75 kg of oxygen)
- Assign the suit (high priority) to a dupe
- Deliver suit again (high priority) to refill the dropped one
Drywall display
Drywall display shelves allow artifact storage, useful for bringing discoveries back from remote planetoids.This allowed to me capture long lost artifacts :
Optional logic:
The automation checks two readiness conditions:
- water pipes filled
- sufficient oxygen
Using an XOR gate removes the need for two NOT gates, though it requires color inversion on the display.
The buffer is set to 60 s.
The liquid pipe element sensor detects water.
The atmo sensor is set to the minimum desired internal pressure before launch, here 4 kg out of 30 kg (the highest range).
The button acts as a lockout (spacejail).
