Batman: Arkham Origins - Completionist Collectors' Adviser [CoCoA]
(1) Prologue
In this handy guide I collected every DLC and mod that can be purchased or used to get every available in-game item. So you don't have to worry about looking it up on the forum what to buy and what to do.
If there is a sub-topic that is already explained in an other guide I simply linked that guide.
That's all and here we go:

(2) Game + DLC
You obviously need the base game.

Season Pass contains almost everything.

The only DLC not included in the Season Pass on Steam (unlike on GOG where this is also part of the Season Pass) is the Black Mask Challenge Pack which adds only 2 challenge maps and that's all.

- (3.0) DLC Modding and Unlocker Save Files
There are 4(+1) items that can be unlocked only by modding or with save files. These items are:
There are other guides with prepared files, that you can use but I'd like to share a manual approach. So let's talk about the basics of the DLC modding first.
So the base assumption is that you own the Season Pass (but any other DLC will do). The ID of the Season Pass is 257070, so we will go with that.
I suggest creating a folder called "Mod" inside the Season Pass' DLC folder. So our current file path is:
Important note: the unlocker config file names must either follow the pattern below:
or just simply:
The path where these files will be located is:
- New 52 Metallic Batman skin
- Batman One Million skin
- Knightfall Pack
- Robin character trophy
- Bonus character trophy
There are other guides with prepared files, that you can use but I'd like to share a manual approach. So let's talk about the basics of the DLC modding first.
DLC Modding
Sadly DLC modding requires you to own at least one DLC. I didn't find any other way around this.So the base assumption is that you own the Season Pass (but any other DLC will do). The ID of the Season Pass is 257070, so we will go with that.
I suggest creating a folder called "Mod" inside the Season Pass' DLC folder. So our current file path is:
GAME_INSTALL_PATH\Batman Arkham Origins\SinglePlayer\DLC\257070\Mod\
In this folder you can create sub-folders, one or multiple new files to unlock things in the game.Important note: the unlocker config file names must either follow the pattern below:
DLC_*ANYTHING*-BmGame.ini
(replace *ANYTHING* with whatever you want)or just simply:
BmGame.ini
For the codes in the next sections you can create and use (edit with a text editor) the following file:GAME_INSTALL_PATH\Batman Arkham Origins\SinglePlayer\DLC\257070\Mod\BmGame.ini
Unlocker Save Files
These are prepared save files that you can use to unlock in-game items. Naturally these should be auto generated by the game itself for example: for verifying your WBID email or playing the multiplayer. Unfortunately some of the requirements are not available, so I sat down and prepared some save files that anyone (even GOG players) can use.The path where these files will be located is:
STEAM_INSTALL_PATH\Steam\userdata\YOUR_ID\209000\remote\
( For GOG users it is:C:\Users\WIN_USERNAME\Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham Origins\SaveData\
)
- (3.1) New 52 Metallic Batman skin
As far as I'm aware this skin can be unlocked on PC only by modding.
Now following my modding suggestion above, in this example I will edit the file:
GAME_INSTALL_PATH\Batman Arkham Origins\SinglePlayer\DLC\257070\Mod\BmGame.ini
Open the file with a text editor and copy the following text into this file:[BmGame.RPlayerController]
+PlayableCharactersV2=(BaseId=0, Id=9, Name="Batman_N52Metallic", bBad=false, Mask=0, LockedSkinID=ESkin_New52Metallic, bIgnoreLock=true)
then save it.That's all. You can start the game and the skin is now unlocked.
- (3.2) Batman One Million skin
However there are other ways to unlock this skin.
The first method is to follow the same steps as shown at the "New 52 Metallic Batman skin". Copy the contents below into a new or the same file.
[BmGame.RPlayerController]
-PlayableCharactersV2=(BaseId=0, Id=11, Name="Batman_OneMillion", bBad=false, Mask=0, LockedSkinID=ESkin_1Million, bIgnoreLock=false)
+PlayableCharactersV2=(BaseId=0, Id=11, Name="Batman_OneMillion", bBad=false, Mask=0, LockedSkinID=ESkin_1Million, bIgnoreLock=true)
This is the easiest and most convenient way but there is an other one.The second method is to use an Unlocker Save File. This can be found at the Online sections, because this is the only way to unlock the skin in the Online mode.
Details in the section "(4.4) Batman One Million skin (Online)".
- (3.3) Knightfall Pack
There are multiple guides about this. In my opinion the best guide is this, because it contains the Initiation Bruce Wayne fix and even the New 52 Metallic skin.
Link to the Guide
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1281642064
Still I wouldn't like to use the Revolt stuff in it and I want to be able to verify and repair my game files without needing to reinstall the Initiation Bruce Wayne fix. So bear with me because I will show you how to achieve this.
We need the files provided by the guide above.
We will only use the contents of one folder. This one:
Knightfall DLC.zip/SinglePlayer/DLC/250960
Copy this entire folder into the suggested modding folder, mentioned at the beginning of this guide:GAME_INSTALL_PATH\Batman Arkham Origins\SinglePlayer\DLC\257070\Mod
Now we have everything but the Initiation Bruce Wayne fix. (This is obviously only needed if you have the Initiation DLC.) To apply the fix without touching original files, we should create a new config file or use an already existing one for example the one I used for the New 52 Metallic skin.I wrote the fix for you so you only have to copy it into this file.

That's all. At this point you have everything for the Knightfall Pack.
- (3.4) Robin character trophy
So the simple unlock condition is to play and finish one match in the multiplayer and then the trophy should be unlocked. If it's not restart the multiplayer, join a lobby, exit and then check again.
However if you want to absolutely avoid playing the multiplayer or you can't play at all because you are on GOG, then there is an alternative way to unlock this trophy.
To unlock this trophy we have to use the above mentioned Unlocker Save File method. I prepared 2 files for this.
The first one only unlocks the Robin trophy. You can find this file here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NGiq00mHu7NaQtfWOQsIs08OxC33Wn1M/view
The second variant unlocks the Robin trophy and also the Batman One Million skin for the single-player and for the multiplayer too. This file can be downloaded from here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P3bFhNfU9dMpenKbVRXIaeTu-bjpgcOr/view
Just to be sure create a backup of your own file and then replace it with the new one. The file in question is:
STEAM_INSTALL_PATH\Steam\userdata\YOUR_ID\209000\remote\SHARED.SWP
( For GOG users it is:C:\Users\WIN_USERNAME\Documents\WB Games\Batman Arkham Origins\SaveData\SHARED.SWP
)That's all. Start the game and choose your save slot. The Robin trophy should be now unlocked on it.
- (3.5) Bonus character trophy
***Potential minor spoiler below***
In the game there are 48 character trophies listed. However there is one cut content here, a 49th character trophy, Tiffany Ambrose.
There are other methods to just simply view the character trophy, but I haven't seen one that has the in-game character selector, like in the picture below.
Sadly I have not found a way to unlock this on pre-existing save files, and to make this work we need to use both DLC Modding and a prepared save file. The save file I prepared has every in-game item (trophies, concept arts, skins, etc.) pre-unlocked, but without the game started. So you can think of it as a time-saver if you will.
I do not take any responsibility for the use of the file.
For the DLC Modding part you only have to copy the contents below into a new or an existing file.
The save file which I prepared will use the 4th slot. You can download it from here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RUo4atky3eNwZae_sIVz-OFuPHDdNZuh/view
If it doesn't work at first, create a new game on the 4th slot and close the game, then replace the file with the provided one, after that it should work.
As already mentioned the save file location is:

(4) Online
The pinned topic in the discussions and the store page says "As of December 4, 2016, the online services are retired." However, as it turns out the game server (which only holds your profile stats, as the game itself is P2P) was never shut down. Simply put, a server certificate expired and because of this no one could connect to it. At the end of February 2021 I was able to successfully connect to the server. So now with a little bit of tweaking anyone can make the multiplayer work again.
I am happy to announce that there is now a secure way to connect to the game's server.
I wrote an open source program that solves the game's connection problem and uses the secure HTTPS protocol, assuring your privacy and security as it was before 2017.
You can download the program from GitHub[github.com].
If you want to read more about it, check out the main page[github.com].

- (4.1) Notes, bugs
- AchievementsAchievements related to the multiplayer are working again just like they were before.
- MicrotransactionsMicrotransactions do not work in the game, meaning you cannot buy Arkham Credits with real money. (I don't think that bothers anyone.)
- Lobby bugThere is also a bug in the lobby system that prevents us from continuing the game in the same lobby.
Current workaround is:
After each match the current host has to leave the lobby and can immediately rejoin the other players. You cannot be the host twice in a row.
This "recreates" the lobby allowing a continuous play.
In private lobbies the host is the one who has the START button on their screen. (In public lobbies I don't think there is a way to determine who becomes the new host.) - Infinite loading screenIf for whatever reason (for example not using the workaround from the prevous point) you are stuck in an infinite loading screen, I can provide you with a quick escape from it with the help of DLC Modding.
Create the file:GAME_INSTALL_PATH\Batman Arkham Origins\Online\DLC\257070\Mod\BmInput.iniand copy the following text into it:[BmGame.RPlayerInput] .Bindings=(Name="Home",Command="start frontend")Now you can use the "Home" button on your keyboard anytime to escape to the main menu.
- (4.2) Matchmaking
Private matchmaking is preferred over public games because of the bug mentioned in the previous section. To find people to play with you can join group chats and create or join matches there.
The group chat has over 1600 members and you can join with this link:
Arkham Origins Online Elite Players - Group Chat
There is also a Steam group created if you are interested you can find it here:
Arkham Origins Online 75 Regiment Battalion - Group
People who prefer Discord can join this server to find other players. This server has over 600 members.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of these groups or group chats.
If you own a group or group chat with a decent amount of players and you want me to feature it here, then write a comment and I'll see what can I do.

- (4.3) Knightfall Pack skins (Online)
The only skins unlockable in the Online mode by DLC Modding are the Knightfall Pack skins.
The "Knightfall DLC guide" mentioned in the section (3.3) does contain a file that unlocks the skins however the folder numbers are wrong in that guide. Using that would overwrite the Season Pass skins.
So we will use the modding process similar to the Single-player's.
The unlocker config file names must be exactly this:
So lets follow my modding suggestion and create (the folders and) the file like this:
Now you should have the Knightfall Pack skins available for Batman in the Online mode.

(6) Appendix
- (6.1) Steam stats challenge map references
This way you can see your scores without starting or even installing the game, but there is a problem. It is not possible to tell which code and score belongs to which map.
For this reason I mapped all challenge maps and put them together into an excel sheet so everyone can cross-reference the map names.
