Battlefield 1: Collectibles

Hi all. First off, why are you doing this to yourself? There are a total of 66 Field Manuals in BF1, that's a minimum of 5 manuals per chapter (on average, some don't). This is going to take a while, but at the end, you're going to feel damn proud of yourself!! Field Manuals are hidden in chests, so you won't have to go hunting for Dog Tags or picture frame mementos or something random like that. They aren't that difficult to find, but given the game's huge maps, it's likely that you won't find even half unless you are looking for them.

If you manage to collect all of the Field manuals, you'll be rewarded with field entries which unlock unique skins for your guns. So, you'll not be wasting your time just grinding for poultry Steam Achievements. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2281267541

So, let's get started.

This Field Manual can be found after capturing all three of the points in the village. Make your way up the hill and across the roads until you come to a barrier made of upturned logs. Look for a Weapon Station near the wall’s exit, and you’ll find this Field Manual hidden near the debris pile and spent shells.
After you come to the town that is currently being bombarded by enemy fire, head up the right side, near the fortified church to find a makeshift hospital that you can enter. Look for a line of large pots, then break open the crate nearby to find this Field Manual inside.
(Still at the church). To find this Field Manual you will need to make your way through the chapel via the back entrance, then turn to the left (when facing away from the chapel). You should spot a container along the exterior of the church that you can break open to find this Field Manual inside.
This Field Manual can be found at Point D, the large farm with the trenches dug throughout it. Look for a crate near the house on the right. Break it open to find this Field Manual waiting inside.
Make your way up the road from the outpost until it veers to the left, up a hill that is dotted with abandoned vehicles. Look for the vehicles with the AT guns jimmied to the back, and then search the ground near the vehicles to find this Field Manual.

This Field Manual can be found inside a crate in the second part of this campaign mission. Early in the mission you will be tasked with fighting through a set of gun emplacements beyond a wooden bridge. Follow the path until it veers left towards the wooded forest area. Turn right at this intersection, and head up the nearby hill to find a crate that contains this Field Manual.
Throughout this mission you will come across different sets of ruins, from buildings destroyed during the war. Look for the second set of ruins, what remains of an old stone church. You’ll know if by the arches sticking out of the ground. Look around the area to spot a bunker entrance, then head down into the basement area to find this Field Manual in the back left-hand corner of the area.
To find this Field Manual, continue through the mission until you reach a bridge with metal girders. If you look underneath the bridge, on the opposite side of the creek, you will spot a flat patch of land that you can drop down to. Drop down to find this Field Manual waiting to be collected.
Continue through the mission until you reach a hill for large concrete bunkers built into it. Make your way down into the bunker on the far left to find a crate inside. Bust the crate open to find this Field Manual.
This Field Manual can be found in the same area as the previous collectible. Make your way through the mission until you reach the hill with the concrete bunkers. Then look for a small supply depot with a Weapons Station to the right of the entrance path. Behind a set of dirt mounds, you will find a crate that can be broken open to reveal this Field Manual’s location.

Head towards the current objective at the start of the mission, and look for a shack in the back left corner of the village block near the objective in the first village to find this Field Manual.
Look down the hill from the first village to spot a windmill down at the bottom. Head to the windmill, and make your way up to the top of it to find a crate containing this Field Manual.
You'll need to locate the village just below and to the right of the windmill near Field Manual #12. This village contains a refueling station and repair depot for tanks. Make your way to the repair station, and look for a tall building to the right. Head inside the structure, and make your way all the way to the attic to find this Field Manual inside a crate.
In the same village with the refueling station and repair depot, look for a two-story building with a turret in the corner window on Mainstreet. This is the same building with the Calvary sword needed to get the Mightier Than the Shovel achievement. Head up the stairs to the turret nest and look for this Field Manual inside a crate in that room.
Head back to the village that we described in Field Manual #11. Instead of heading right, to find Field Manuals #12-#14, turn left and head up the street and across the stone bridge. Look for a farm house with a fenced in backyard and a tent in the back left-hand corner. Just across from the tent is a storage shack that contains a crate with this Field Manual in it.

This Field Manual can be found just on the outskirts of the first town in the mission. Look in the nearby windmill to find a crate with this Field Manual. This windmill is the last windmill before you head completely down the hill towards the second town.
Head down the hill from the first village, past the encampment, and towards the river. Look for another windmill down the river a little ways, right beside the water. Head inside the windmill to find this Field Manual hidden within a crate.
To find this Field Manual, move down the hill from the first village, and opposite of the windmill right beside the water (the one that contains Field Manual #17). Look for a second windmill in this area, and then head inside it to find a crate containing this Field Manual.
Continue through the mission until you push out of the town below the first village. Right as you exit the main area of buildings you will run into another windmill situated along your path. Climb out of your tank and head into the windmill, which is right beside the stone bridge that crosses the river. A crate inside contains this Field Manual.
The final Field Manual in this campaign can be found inside a windmill that overlooks the town below the first village. Look for a windmill standing atop a hill, it is a bit to the right of your path to the next objective. Head over the stone bridge and up the hill to enter it and find a crate inside containing this Field Manual.

While making your way back towards friendly lines, look for a bombed-out structure off the beaten path. You should spot a light on at the front door of the building. Make your way around the structure to find a shed in the backyard. This Field Manual can be claimed from the wheelbarrow next to the shed.
Make your way down the hill from the starting point to a large fire in the center of the cluster of buildings. Look for a shed just behind the building at the corner, and then keep your eyes open for this Field Manual next to a giant muddy puddle of water.
Continue through the ruined village until you spot a tent on the right-hand side of the encampment. Head inside the tent to find rows of beds. This Field Manual can be grabbed from the crate next to the second row of beds.
After you arrive at the trenches, head down into them and look for an alarm tower near a very large tent. Head down the pathway next to the tent, and follow it up the steps and to the right. Here you will find a set of wooden planks that outline a pathway. Follow it until you must jump a trench gap, and then look near a pile of ruined crates just inside of No Man’s Land to find this Field Manual.
You can find this last Field Manual inside of the concrete bunker when following the trenches towards No Man’s Land. Head up the steps and inside to find the crate containing this Field Manual.

The final Field Manual in this campaign can be found halfway through this mission. While fighting towards the Flak Gun that you’ve been tasked with taking out, look on the right-hand side of the path near the metal containers. You should be able to spot a place you can exit through to find this Field Manual waiting on the other side.

After capturing the St. Anastasia capture zone, head through the church and out the other side. Look to your right and spot the first building on the left. Make your way here, then push inside to find this Field Manual waiting to be collected.
Continue down the road that leads right from the church, and look for for a fork in the path. There is a wheelbarrow resting along a wooden fence line to the left. Head up the hill to the nearby trenches to find this Field Manual inside of the trench with the wooden platform atop it.
Follow the ‘Assault the Artillery Gun’ objective marker until you arrive at a steep hill. Continue up it until you spot a small trench to the right of the main path. You’ll know you’ve found the right one if it has a wooden platform covering the trench. Look for this Field Manual in the trench.
Continue through the mission and into the underground bunker. Right after you take the set of stairs down into the larger room, look to your right to spot this Field Manual hiding away in the corner.
After you disable the artillery gun, make your way up the hill towards the next objective, which tasks you with getting to the Anti-Aircraft encampment. Just behind the AA gun’s sight, you will find a set of trenches that can be followed. Look for this Field Manual just between the two paths that lead to the trenches.

While completing the ‘Search for Matteo” objective, follow the trenches down the hill and look for a damaged barn. Head towards the barn to spot this Field Manual resting beside the dirt road.
After defending, head down the hill and look around the trenches near the objective marker to your left. Inside of the bunker you will find Matteo’s unit and this Field Manual.
Continue through the mission until you need to make your way up the hills to a fort. Once you arrive at the front of the trenches facing the mountain, follow the path from the concrete wall up to the bunker entrance where you will find this Field Manual waiting inside a small room.
Enter the fort at the top of the hill through the wall, and clear out the Austrian soldiers in your way. Once they are taken care of, look for this Field Manual along the exterior wall, just behind the structure on the right-hand side of the area.
This Field Manual can be found at the center of the fort in this mission. While you are tasked with the objective ‘Clear the Austrian Horn’, head down into the bunker until you get the ‘Leaving Combat Area’ message. At this point, rush to the end of the rows of bed to find this Field Manual on the left.

Right after stepping out of the boat, look to the left and move down the beach to find this Field Manual close to the water.
Look out for the giant crater in the side of the mountain just. Partway into the crater, look for a trench that has been dug along the right edge. Follow the trench to find a shooting area with this Field Manual.
Move to the far left-hand side of the beach and climb up into the AT Gun Encampment to find this Field Manual resting inside a small alcove next to the gun.
This Field Manual can be grabbed from the barn just up the hill and to the left of Helles Overlook (Point A).
Look for this Field Manual at the Helles Overlook, which is Point A. Spot a house beside the flag, and then head into the backyard to find this Field Manual inside the nearby shack.

Enter the house on the far left of the ridge filled with sandbags and cannons. Inside the house you will find this Field Manual waiting to be collected.
You'll need to look hard to spot this collectible. Find the dirt path that leads left out of the village, and then look for a grassy field to the left side of the town. This Field Manual can be grabbed from a crate in the middle of the field.
Look for the house with camo netting in the front yard. It’s just below the stone fort. This Field Manual can be found near the structure’s door.
Make your way through the village to the large domed structure at the end. Head inside of the dome to find this Field Manual in the center, just waiting to be claimed.
Move towards the ‘Inform Rear Command’ objective marker until you spot a building with a missing roof to the left of your path. Look for this Field Manual near the building’s outer wall.

Climb to the top of the three story sniper tower just beneath the fort. If you climb up the ladder inside you will find this Field Manual on the second floor.
Follow the steps up the walls of the fort, then move around to the left artillery battery to find this Field Manual near the tallest battlements.
This Field Manual can be found inside a square building next to the artillery battery. Look for the building to your right as you enter the fort.
To find this Field Manual you’ll need to continue through the fort and into the bunker hallway. Look for a dead-end room to find this Field Manual inside.
You can only collect this Field Manual after you reach the top of the fort and activate the ‘Capture the Courtyard’ objective. Look for a small shed across from the entrance to this area, and then head inside to find the final Field Manual in this campaign.

Right from the start of the mission, look around you for a crashed set of train cars. This Field Manual can be found inside of the red car still standing upright among the wreckage.
This Field Manual can be found directly to the left of the crash site. Follow the step-like cliffedge up to the top to find the Field Manual one step down from the peak.
Look for a large jutting rock just to the left of the train crash. This Field Manual can be found behind that rock.
Just beyond the train tracks is a dirt path that leads to a tent. Look to the right of the road to find this Field Manual next to a set of rocks.
To find this Field Manual you will need to climb a sand dune behind the train crash. Look out for a tent once you reach the top, and then head down to find this Field Manual next to some rocks.

Go to the right from where you start the mission. You will find a fire and many chests among which the field manual is hidden.
The next chest with a collectible is lying on the rocks, near the railways, far to the left side from where you start the mission.
When you arrive at the Officer Location, the Weapons Depot, look for this Field Manual on the bottom floor of the large structure in the corner of the base. The building you are looking for is white.
In the main village in the South of the map, there is a building near the back, with an arched entry. Inside is the manual.
Look for this Field Manual in the village where you must fake the dispatch message. Spot a small building off the main road, and look inside that house to find this Field Manual.

The first Field Manual of this chapter can be found just outside of the village that is marked as your objective. Turn to the right from the village and look out for a small two-part structure on the outskirts of the compound. If you head inside the smallest part of the building you will find this Field Manual waiting to be collected.
While in the village marked as your objective, look around and spot the water tower in the distance. Make your way towards it until you spot an encampment made of sandbags. If you look near this encampment you will spot this Field Manual next to a rock.
This Field Manual can only be found by making your way towards the water tower in the village. Follow the train tracks to easily locate this Field Manual next to a set of rocks directly to the right of the water tower.
You can grab this Field Manual by locating the small building with a blue door next to capture Point C. Head inside the building and find the stairs that lead to the second floor. This Field Manual will be inside a crate in the room with the stairs. Look for a gas container built on the exterior wall to find this building easily.
The final Field Manual in the game can be found in a bombed out building near the start of this chapter. Look for the water tower and make your way there. Once you arrive, look down the hill away from the two-story compound to find the blown-out building housing this Field Manual collectible.
