Downloading The Sofware

Which software?

When it comes to modding beatsaber there are several different applications you can use for Beat Saber, however the easiest one to use is BSManager, it is the most popular and is updated very regularly.

It shows what the best version of Beat Saber you should use and automatically updates it if you want it to.

The download to BSManager can be found here:

Setting it up

The installation is simple.

After you download the installer, open it and run it.
Once the application is open follow the steps below.

1. Select which version of Beatsaber you are using and click download

2. Select which platform you are on and click download

3. Login to your steam account or platform account

4. Select the version you have downloaded on the left side

You are now setup to start to download mods

Installing Mods

To play custom songs you will need to install the mods to allow it alongside any other mods you may want.

1. Click on Mods and the top of your screen

Once you have done this it will prompt you to download the default mods needed for you so all you have to do is click on Install or Update at the bottom right of the screen.

2. Click Install or Update

3. Add any additional mods

On this page you can now click on additional mods you would like to add and just click install or update once again to add them in.

Installing Songs

Installing songs is easy! Just follow the steps below:

1. Click on Maps at the top of the screen then click the Add button

2. Search for a song you would like to add using the new popup menu

3. Hover over the song and click the download icon

4. Close the popup and your new song should be in the maps section!

Using the Oculus

When it comes to using a wireless headset such as the Oculus Quest 3 to use BSManager you have to do these steps.

1. Launch SteamVR on your Oculus Headset and connect to Steam

2. Click on the desktop icon highlighted below

This should put you into desktop view where you are able to view your desktop through your headset and use it through your headset. If you do not have this then you can consider downloading a paid application such as Virtual Desktop to achieve the same result.

3. Go onto BSManager and click on launch

Once your here ensure that you have enabled Oculus Mode

4. Click Launch!

Once you have launched you can exit desktop view, or it may kick you out automatically and you should be in Beat Saber on your Oculus without having to connect it to your PC via a quest link or a wire!
