The Run Down

If you know what you are doing, skip to Faction Achievements located in the Guide Index.

I will no longer be helping people with achievements for this game. No exceptions! I will keep this guide up still because it still has its use, maybe. Any time I mention myself in this guide, ignore it. I cannot be bothered to go through and change it in a way that's third person.

If asked why; I've done this for a whole year. (Guide came after when people wanted me to make it)
Throughout that whole time, I've had maybe three people who actually read what I have typed.
I'm tired of helping those who can't help themselves. There's only so many times I'm willing to repeat myself. And despite the discussion post being at the top, clearly stating I'll help, others made new posts asking for the same thing I was giving. Again going back to those who can't be bothered to read.

Why so long?
There are a lot of types of players. Some who have never touched the game and are jumping right into multiplayer. Some who have beaten the story mode but has been a long time since then, forgetting the basics on how to play the game.
So if some parts seem obvious to you, they might not be for others. You are free to skip around by navigating to what section you are interested in.

Crashing
I'm expecting the game to crash and you should too. The game also doesn't like Tabbing out of focus, definitely in full screen mode. I found running the game in Windowed mode helps this a little. And that, it's easier to change screens if you are typing to me.

Maps
If you are going for the map specific achievement, it's going to be random. Hopefully along the way to 50 wins, you'll get them. The maps we are looking for are the last 5 on the list. That being; Feeding Area, Coiled Remains, Crucible of the Titans, Altar of Blood and The Amplified Cliffs.

How to Win
I'll just be surrendering immediately when we are done with the faction achievements. Still counts as a win for you. This is just faster to do than having you beat me with troops.

Getting Started

Heading over to the Multiplayer Mode, you will be shown this screen. We will be in Matchmaking.
This allows me to keep track of your wins and Customs won't get you achievements anyways. Don't worry about other players. The game is basically dead to the point we will be the only ones in there. If there is someone else, it must likely will slow us down a lot.

While in Matchmaking this is what we will see the most of while farming the 50 wins.
There are three Faction to choose from. Make sure you are on the right faction for the achievements you are going for before you find an opponent. To do that, just press that red highlighted section I show here.

By selecting any one's name, you will be shown the wins & losses tab. This is how we can keep track of how close you are to be getting the 50 wins.

How to Play

Yes, I need to add this section. As a reminder, some haven't touched this game in a long time, or have never played. And that, you will need to spend hours in story before the game tells you everything you need to know about this stuff.
You can skip this part if you know the basics.
As I only have a keyboard and Xbox controller, I will be using those buttons.

How to Fly
Right Stick in, or F.

How to Summon Troops
Right Bumper, or Tab.

How to Command Troops
Placing a Beacon of Light - Left Bumper, or Middle Mouse Button.
Attack - Up on D-Pad, or 1.
Defend - Down on D-Pad, or 2.
Move to Beacon - Right on D-Pad, or 3.
Follow - Left on D-Pad, or 4.

I find only using Place Beacon & Move to Beacon to be good enough. If used on, or near things of interest, they will just attack anyways.

How to Play Songs
Right Trigger, or Q.
You will need to push more buttons at the right time to actually finish the song. (like a rhythm game)

Towers

This will speed up how fast your economy generates. Allowing you to buy Troops without waiting too much. So getting them isn't really "needed" so to say, but they do help.
And please don't take every tower on the map, I need to make troops too.

This is how they look when we spawn in. We need to take the leeches down in order to make a tower. Summon two troop units to take them down. I will do the same on my end.

This is how they look when we remove the leech. Now you have to play a Song in order to summon your tower for increase income.
The song is Called Fan Tribute.

Faction Achievements

This includes the Double Team achievements. If you are wanting to do Double Team stuff, can I ask for you to keep your troops away from my troops, towers and base.

I will be leaving my troops around a good location for easy access to the specific achievements. Basically a field that's big enough.

IronHeade
Ringleader - Buy one of the Fire Baron's troops and interact.
You will be driving the bike. Use the ability to draw a circle around my troops. The ring of fire needs to be completed in order for achievement to trigger. So hold the ability down until it happens.

Painkiller - Buy a Rock Crusher and interact.
You will need to run over my troops for the achievement. Having the grinder getting the kills.
This is very buggy! I don't know why, but some times it takes a very long time to get.
The fireworks attack and ability doesn't count. You can't turn off the fireworks.
The interact button doesn't count as well. So don't use the fire sword attack.

Drowning Doom
Dollpocalypse - Buy the Brood and interact.
Drive the doll into my troops and use the ability to blow it up. Best used when in the middle of group. All the blue orbs need to hit my troops.

Tainted Coil
Euthanasia - Buy a Warfather. Use them to then summon the Pain Lifter, interact with it.
Use its ability to throw a ball and again to explode it. Best and easiest if you just have it land on the ground and drive the ball in the middle of my troops, then explode it.

Death From Above - Buy Bleeding Death. You need to play a song called Launch of Death after.
This will bring down a pod, if you don't move, it will kill you. A monster will finally show up. This is what needs to kill my troops for the achievement, not the pod itself. Play the song near my troops, not on top, or near aggro range. Then I can rush in there when it shows up.

50 Wins

Now that the faction achievements are out of the way, we can spend the remainder of the time searching for a match. A win is over a minute. Depending on lag, crashes, or the wait time in lobby. I'll be surrendering to speed up the process. It still gives you the win.

Hopefully during this time, you will get both Hammer of Fate achievements.
The Champion achievement can be done vs Brutal AI and I recommend trying it out if it didn't pop for the 50 wins. You probably still need to beat the AI anyways for the rest of the achievements.
I don't mind helping some more, but keep in mind that it needs to be in Matchmaking for it to count. So that means random maps. And there is no telling how long that will take.

I'll be removing you as a friend when we are done. The likelihood of us actually talking after is probably never anyways. And if anything, you know where to find me again in the future if you require any more help from this game.

Sellout Achievement

Again, this isn't something I'm helping with.
But I will add info about it anyways because it is kinda a multiplayer achievement.

It's best to play in Custom Game Mode. Here you can start up a match without AI.
I recommend Crucible of the Titans map. It's has the most towers to use with being able to kill.
Play as Tainted Coil. The Nun is the cheapest and only takes up one spot for your army.
While you have every tower on the map, place a flag on top of the anvil so the hammer can crush your troops whenever you summon them. At this point you can keep spamming Nuns to get crushed until the achievement pops.

If at any time you want to see your progress. Go into Story and look at Stats.
Surrendering in Customs will save your progress.
