Intro, settings, etc.

I paused the game, so that there were no scene changes between color correction changes, and used the "Hide HUD" hotkey to hide all the HUD indications, since they're not really relevant to this.

Because steam imposes a 2MB filesize limit on image uploads to guides, these images have been scaled down from 4K to 1080p and converted to JPEG. If you want to see the original 4K lossless PNGs, you can find them here.[imgur.com]

Here I show the graphics settings used when taking these screenshots. No, I can't maintain 60FPS+ with these settings! ☹

In case it should matter, these were taken with the 7.50 Public Beta (build 547494) on a Windows 11 system, using Vulkan. HDR and AutoHDR are disabled, 3840x2160 on an AMD GPU. I wouldn't expect anything to change between versions (this setting has been untouched for several major version releases) nor between GPU vendor/models.

Off (default)

This is the default setting, with no color correction applied. It is listed as "Off" in the menu.

Photo (my favorite)

This is the "Photo" setting, which happens to be my favorite.

Desaturated

This is the "Desaturated" setting.

Strongly Desaturated

This is the "Strongly Desaturated" setting.

Experimental

This is the "Experimental" setting. This one isn't all that well represented here, unfortunately. I find that it adds a reddish-violet tint to the overall image, which can be more easily seen in other scenes.
