Crafting Solid Tiles (Nature Reserves or Nature Farms)

What Material do you want?

In my case I wanted a line of dirt for a ''nature reserve room'' in my 2nd base.
There are a couple of Materials you can use to get what you want.
For Dirt you can use Slime, Fertiilizer or Algae.

In the Library you can look up at which Temperature your Material will change.
(Solid)

The Build

You have to basically create a casting Mold in which you place your Material.
Under your Material you will need Metal Tiles and some radiant liquid or gas pipes running through it.
Some isolated Tiles to control the temperature spread in the desired direction.

In my case you see a second line of pipes going through the placed Material, I would advice to place them 1 tile above or somewhere else, since they get stuck in your solid Material if you want to remove/delete them afterwards.
My finished dirt tiles got cracked and had 'Buried Objects' in them when I tried to remove the Pipes.
Dont worry Pips can still place Seeds in them.

I placed my Material by using Storage bins, adjusting the load to '500'(mass will double after it turned solid) 500 ---> 1000 and deleting the Storage bins afterwards.
You might want to Sweep the materials the Storage bins were made out of before you heat your desired Materials.

The Process

Close off the room your natural Tiles will be in and suck out any gases, since we dont want the gases to eat all the Temperature. (Vacuum)
After you placed your desired Material with the desired mass on each metal tile, you need to warm them up.

I did it with a fairly easy Method you can quickly get to.
Using a Metal Refinery with crude Oil as cooling liquid in a Loop. For power you can use 2 big Batteries and a Dupe Wheel. Start with Iron, Steel or Aluminium since you will get the most heat out of it.

If the crude oil reaches Temperatures close to 300°C, switch to Gold Amalgam till it has cooled of enough for Iron to be used again.

Also be sure of all Melting Points in your System. (Lead Pipes or Tiles start melting when reaching about 325°C)

It will take a couple of runs till the Area has heated up enough, but you will get there.

The Moment your Material reached the desired Temperature it will transform to a Solid block.

Fertilizer -> 125°C -> Dirt.

Endgame

After your Material turned into solids remove the blocks around it, so that they can cool off transferring heat to surrounding gases.

Dupes will get scalded when removing the Tiles around it, so keep an eye on them.

Have fun with ur Selfmade Natural Tiles.
