Dark Souls: Remastered - 🏆 All Achievements 💯 100% Guide
All Covenants
- Joining: You must have the Darkmoon Seance Ring, found in the Catacombs, in your possession. You must also have access to Anor Londo.
- Go to the large rotating elevator in the middle of Anor Londo. Move the lever so that it makes the elevator go all the way down and continue down the stairs to reach the Darkmoon Tomb bonfire. (Note: This requires that you have the ability to move the elevator).
- Equip the Darkmoon Seance Ring and the nearby statue will vanish. Go through the opening and down the stairs towards the fog wall, but do not enter. As you approach the fog wall you will hear Gwyndolin speaking and when he is finished you will be able to kneel on the carpet in front of the fog wall in order to access the Darkmoon Blades covenant. ( Side note: You do not actually need to have the "Kneel" Gesture, this is a context kneel.)
- Accept and join the covenant.
- Joining: Reach Quelaag's Domain and locate the White Spider behind a false wall below the lever to activate the underground bell.
- Joining: - Kill Great Grey Wolf Sif and receive his ring, Covenant of Artorias, which will allow you to access The Abyss. You will have to do this even in New Game+, as the game takes away the ring upon completing the game.
Branching path:
- - Do not speak to Frampt after obtaining the Lordvessel and do not place it on the firelink altar. Then speak to Ingward in New Londo Ruins to receive the key to open The Abyss. After joining the covenant, Frampt will disappear. If you accidentally speak to Frampt but have not yet placed the Lordvessel, you can still use Homeward Bone, after doing so you can trade with him normally although the Lordvessel is not placed.
- If you wish to join the covenant before obtaining the Lordvessel, you may kill Ingward to receive the key to open the door to The Abyss.
- Entering The Abyss starts the battle against the Four Kings. Defeat them to proceed. - Speak to Kaathe, the primordial serpent, at The Abyss. He will ask you a question: Answer YES or you won't be able to join the Darkwraiths. You will have the option to Enter Covenant.
- Joining: Reach Alvina (stands just before the bridge linking to the ruined structure.) at the Darkroot Garden. Talk with her and Accept covenant. (Choose YES)
- Joining: You can only join and level up this covenant before defeating Gravelord Nito.
The trigger for unlocking the Gravelord Servant covenant is in the crypt where you find the Titanite Demon in the Catacombs (note: you don't need to kill the demon). In the tunnel it occupies, one coffin sticks further out than the rest, and is unoccupied. Standing in front of will trigger a command prompt for you to "nestle into" it. Once you do, wait for approximately 30 seconds and a first-person cut-scene will commence. You need an Eye of Death in your inventory in order for this to occur.
When you enter the large, spacious room, head away from the coffin to the larger coffin at the other side. Create your covenant with the Gravelord Nito here.
- Joining: You must make your way to Ash Lake, a hidden and optional location. How to get there:
- Go into Blighttown and head out into the swamp. If you're facing out of Quelaag's Domain, go to your right - if you're coming from the beginning of the swamp (the Valley of Drakes entrance) - go to your left.
- Find the swamp bonfire, and leave it behind heading left towards the large tree, then up one of its roots that is acting as a "ramp. It seems like a dead end, but this is actually an Illusory Wall. Hit the alcove with your weapon and you should reach another dead end with a treasure chest. Go behind the chest and hit the wall again.
- You are now at The Great Hollow. As you proceed, you will run into Basilisks (Also known as Cursed Frogs, which can curse the player) and mushroom men. Make your way carefully to the bottom and find an exit out into the Ash Lake.
- An optional mini-boss Hydra enemy awaits you here, you can fight or run from but it drops two dragon scales which can be useful leveling up in the covenant. If you choose to run past it watch out for the clams that will chase you down as well as the hydra as it will jump across to the other side of the lake to follow you.
- "Pray" to the Everlasting Dragon, and become a member.
- Location: After defeating Ornstein and Smough in Anor Londo, proceed up the lift and into the Royal Bedchamber. Speak with Gwynevere to enter this covenant and become part of her guard.
- Joining: - You must meet a Faith requirement of 25.
- Find the Broken Altar to the right of the Sunlight Altar bonfire under The Hellkite Wyvern of the Undead Parish.
- Pray to the altar. If you meet the requirements, you will have the option to enter the covenant. You will have an interaction window pop up. If you get no window, you do not yet meet the requirements.
- Location: Petrus of Thorolund - Firelink Shrine / Undead Parish after rescuing her from Tomb of Giants
