Farin of Erebor (The Champion) - Ank Guide

As you play, you might want to develop Farin dexterity better as this will benefit the explosive crossbow ability or any crossbow ability he has. The more dexterity you have, the more powerful his crossbow attack will be, including the ability. But don't spend everything on dexterity.

Make sure that Farin center ability tree is well developed so that the explosive crossbow ability can be unlocked. You may see my Farin developed ability tree so far.

When you have the explosive crossbow ability and your dexterity well developed, you should change your combat style with the dwarf. Only engage in melee combat when the enemy is weak or you are certain that you can beat them. Otherwise fight the enemy from range, but only use Farin ability with the crossbow, since Farin can only carry 40 crossbow ammo. The explosive crossbow ability can kill more than one enemy so make sure the enemy is close together to make a jackpot. Keep an eye on Farin's power meter.

Trolls and level bosses can be defeated easily with explosive crossbow ability, provided you can always avoid their attacks. Even Agandaur himself won't stand a chance if you are good enough to avoid his strikes.

When you are low on ammo, destroy any boxes you find, you will sometimes find ammo there.

The last thing you need to do is stock a large number of power potion as possible. Farin lose power pretty fast and will need this potion if you want to continue using the explosive crossbow ability. Good luck.
