Game Lag / Freeze After Tutorial and FPS Drop Issue Windows 11 Latest Fix

The Reason is Nvidia Physx

Just Disable Physx in Game Video Settings

Note: AMD Graphics Card Users Make Sure You Disable Physx and Play Game Since this Feature is Nvidia Specific and also Nvidia Rtx 50 Series Stopped Supporting 32-bit Physx Since this Game uses 32-bit You Can't Play with Physx Enabled in 50 Series Card

Disabling Physx will remove lots of objects in game which will downgrade your gaming experience

Note: This solution doesn't work for AMD Graphics Card, You need to disable the physx in game video settings to play game without any lag or crash since Physx is Nvidia tech it doesn't support AMD, The below solution of Nvidia Cards

Step 1: Go to Game installed Location which is located in steam folder, steamapps -> common -> mirrors edge -> Binaries

Step 2: Inside Binaries folder you will find folder called PhysXLocal, and 2 files 1) PhysXCore.dll 2) PhysXDevice.dll

Note: Keep Backup of these 3 files just in case before going to next step

Step 3: Delete PhysXLocal folder and PhysXCore.dll, PhysXDevice.dll Files

Step 4: Install Physx Legacy Driver from Here[www.nvidia.com] (Official Site)

Step 5: After installing the legacy physx from nvidia site, open the game

Step 6: Game will ask to install Physx again and opens physx installer, Don't Install this one and cancel this installation setup, make sure you don't install this one else this one will overwrite legacy physx which was installed before, after cancelling the setup the game opens

Done, the game works fine now without any lag or freeze with Physx enabled, Enjoy
