Gaming Laptop FPS (Possible Fix)

Download and install Process Lasso, start the app and go to Options and check Forced Mode. Start Dying Light and alt-tab to Process Lasso, go to Active Processes and look for DyingLightGame.exe, right click and go to CPU Priority > Always > check High and uncheck Windows Dynamic Thread Priority Boosts, then go to GPU Priority > Always > and check High. Quit the game, restart it and enjoy.

Every time you wanna play Dying Light, start Process Lasso first and then the game. Because of the Forced Mode, Process Lasso will keep forcing these changes onto the game should it try to rewrite them and it tries to do it all the time but Forced Mode is usually enough to fight it. Sometimes you may see your FPS dropping even after all this, simply alt-tab to Process Lasso 3-5 times and your FPS should be fixed, at least it works for me when I do it.

In my experience, I could go on for hours using this method and rarely ever face FPS drops, and anytime the FPS went down, alt-tabbing a few times in a quick succession was enough to get it back on track.
