Generic Achievement Guide

Hello, and welcome to this guide to the achievements of Fistful of Frags. You should probably have a friend help you for most of these, or you might have some trouble.

Almost all of these can be done with a friend on an empty server, and some of them with bots on a local server.

Join a server with other players on it, and kill a player (can't be a bot).

You will probably get this one just from playing the game. You can also have your friend join the same team as you and hit an enemy for most of their health, and then finish them off.

You will probably get this one just by playing, but a tip for it would be to not heal with whiskey.
You can also try to get postmortem kills for this by dying with lit dynamite in your hand.

The best way to get this one is to camp at one of the taverns, wait to get shot, drink whiskey, and then kill the enemy.

Note: Make sure to shoot them before the filter on your screen goes away or it won't count.

Proper way: Find players with high kill-streaks (usually with one of the golden chest weapons like the sharps) and kill them.

Easy way: Join an empty server with your friend, have your friend kill you seven times, and then kill him.

Have fist fights with your friend on an empty server, and this will be done with quickly.

Proper way: Camp the golden chest, get the sniper rifle, and kill 10 people.

Easy way: Do the same thing but on an empty server with your friend.

Proper way: Camp the golden chest (preferably on fof_fistful), get two colt walkers, and kill people.

Easy way: Get two colt walkers from the golden chest on an empty server, and kill your friend over and over.

Note: You can do this at the same time as overweighted if you can get your weight above 100%.

Play on fof_robertlee and try to kick people off the front of the ship, the front of the dock, and the bridge. Having boots also greatly helps, and i'd recommend the hatchet because it is useful in close range.



Note: You can kick people into fire, into a pit, pretty much any environmental hazard, not just water.

This one is tricky, basically what you have to do is blow up someone else's dynamite in their hand with your dynamite. You definitely want to cook your dynamite for this, and try not to kill them with your dynamite. You can also do this on an empty server with your friend.

Pick dynamite and a pistol for your loadout. Run at someone with the dynamite, quickly right click to toss it, switch to your pistol, and shoot the dynamite. Rinse and repeat. As with all of these, you can do it with your friend.

When someone throws dynamite at you, press "e" on it to defuse it. Be careful you don't try to defuse dynamite that was cooked, as it will probably blow up in your face. You can also do this with your friend on an empty server if you can't get anyone to throw dynamite at you.

Start a local game by clicking create server on the menu. Put allow bots on 90%, Max players on 20, and no teamplay. As soon as you get in, enter in the console.
Now find one of the bots, and back away from him for a fairly long distance. Then aim the bow high above him and fire! (and probably miss). Keep trying until you get the aim right and you get a headshot. If you were far enough back you should get a "Achievement progress" dialog on the lower right. Rinse and repeat.

Note: Make sure to hold right click until the bow is fully back and then left click. If you left click too early then it will fire an arrow with low velocity.

If you shoot players from above in the hat, it will usually fly off and do little damage. Personally I had higher success using a shotgun.
You can also do this with bots like the last achievement in this guide, and as always with friends.
Note: If you got his hat off there will be no damage done to him.

Start a local game (create server), and put the playing time (minutes) to 1. That way every game is short, so you spend 9,500 less minutes playing to earn the achievements. Make sure you join a team or else it won't count for the achievement.

I made a script to automatically join a team, so I could just watch a movie and press a button every time the game reloads the map.
