Guide for new players 2025

1) Name not show on scoreboard : This happens to people with new game save file, i.e new players & smurfs. (No fix so far) Edit: Possible Solution by JP - Keep clicking new save till your name eventually shows up

2) Friend list bug : Can't invite your friends from list because of "Failed to load/connect to server" ? This is been with us for almost a year.
Fix : Return to main menu and try again, Restarting the game also helps.

3) Failed to Invite/Offline Bug : This happens when the person you are trying to invite made double saves in different regions ( Save files are region based )

Fix : Any Kakashi VR mission, Host hosts and invitee join allies. Eg Kakashi D rank mission, and once they join your team quit matching and the person who needs to be invited needs to enter Kakashi again and back out. This is to put both in same lobbies( only if in different lobbies, if same lobby, you can directly invite by opening their profile from lobby). If different lobby, sometimes it wont work if host's lobby is full. Restart the game/Go to main menu till you are put in a new lobby.

4) Failed to connect popup in lobby : You can just click ok and ignore, No fix tho. Seems to resolved

5) Infinite loading/Matching : If you get stuck at that buffer type loading/ Matching buffer type loading, Ya just alt+f4. First type no problem. Second, when u get a match everyone will be stuck until u alt + f4, so alt +f4 if it takes more than 15secs. This only applies if you are the host, otherwise you can go into match which should fix the infinite loading but you will be unable to change your loadout.

6) Black screen Issue : Well that, There isnt an exact fix but avoid tabbing the game during loading.

7) Profile Glitch : Opening someone's profile opens up someone else's profile from lobby
Fix : If you are sure that you opened the right person's profile, just invite even if it opened up someone else's profile, Invite goes to the right person (Works 100% for me)

8) Empty friend list : Wait for 20-30 seconds, it will load... eventually.

Low player count issues:

1) Quick Match is dead : Yes no point, It becomes a bit more active for FaceOff and Hero festival events but still 5-10 mins wait even for full team.

2) Matching takes too long : Yes low player count issues.

Fix : Change servers with changing your PC region. Windows -> Setting -> Language & Region -> Country / Region. Asia is death so your two options are EU based countries and USA. * SAVE ARE REGION BASED * So change servers after you are in lobby by tabbing the game, and * MAKE SURE TO SWITCH BACK FOR NEXT TIME LOG IN * No problem if you do, just don't click on new game, just alt + f4.

- Check timezone for when to play where, Eg Its better to play in USA when its midnight there then when its Mid day in EU. -

Its a Peer-to-Peer game, Nothing can really be done. The closer you are to the randomly selected host region wise determines the connectivity. So make sure to have a very good net speed with less ping (ideally <=2)

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) Make sure it is ON for P2P games. Its a setting on your router access control. Check youtube for step by step guide.
