*BTA: previously, these items could not be traded/sent to characters outside of your account, but one of the recent updates allows you to mail some of them to other players with mithril coins
*BTC: unlike bound-to-account items, these cannot be traded between the other characters on your account
*COD: when items are mailed like this, the recieving character must pay a fee (to the character who sent it) to retrieve them; this is useful for guaranteeing payment when selling items through the mail

*Skirm: this is an instance type
*FS: can be anywhere from 2-6 people; when it holds more than that, it is converted to a raid
*PUG: a fellowship/raid that is arranged spontaneously, typically in a general chat; this as opposed to a pre-planned group, which are more common in kinships
*1/6: although it may be obvious the first number will vary, the second may too; there are some skirmishes that only require 3 or others that require a full 12
*T2: many skirmishes have different "tiers" that increase the difficulty (and reward) of the skirmish without increasing the actual level
*Tank, Heals, DPS: different classes play different roles in a group; when a group is lacking in a certain role, they may advertise looking for one

*BB/EB: all characters above 10 can play these, but are auto-scaled to level 100 (along with their equipment and virtues), so many groups request players to be close to max level
*Sammy: the first instance of the three-part Great Barrow run; although it can be run at any level, right now it is most popular with max level players
*Pel: currently the most popular of the epic battle instances
*Sch/Lib: Frequently run together; advertisements are often written as "sch/lib"
