How to Beat Bendak Starkiller at Level 2

There is no preparation necessary for this guide other than defeating the other contestants in the arena, however you can use the same tactic for them as described here. You do want to make sure you're using a blaster of some sort.

So, when you get into the arena, Bendak will throw three grenades. Simply dodge these and use this opportunity to get closer to him. By the time he throws the final grenade, you should be in his face. When you get close to him, he will pull out a sword. Run away before he gets the opportunity to hit you and shoot him at a distance. He will then pull out his blaster, so run towards him again before he can shoot you. Once you get close, again, he will pull out his sword. I think you see the pattern here, so just rinse and repeat.

Sometimes, he may chase you with the sword, you should be able to run a little bit faster than him, so just get sufficiently far away from him and shoot him again. This may take a while, but you will eventually defeat him without taking any damage. You can also savescum during the fight to avoid getting one-shotted and having your progress reset.
