What is the Sky Tower?

You should probably already know this if you're trying to know how to beat the dungeon, but if you somehow don't, it's a 40 player raid dungeon with 35 floors to clear. However, this guide will only cover the first 20 floors. It provides a tremendous amount of Dragon Points and Loyalty points, which are useable to exchange for many things from the encyclopedia and the item mall. If you are looking for an actual serious, clear-cut guide on how to defeat the floors in intricate details there are many other older guides out there on Steam and the web.

You will get a time limit of 2 hours to complete the entire run and every player will receive 15 lives, and once those 15 lives are all used up, you are outta the dungeon. Don't fret, it's rare to even go below 10. You can also use your Mounts and the ability, Glide, as much as you want, but you cannot summon any eidolons in Sky Tower.

If you seriously want to beat the dungeon, join a raid group with as close to 40 people as possible, strength in numbers, amirite?

Some common lingos used in chat

1/111 - The player has died, and basically everyone should stop hitting the chest and wait for the player to arrive back and make sure they get a hit on the chest too.

2/222 - The player is all good now and that everyone can proceed to hit the chest.

burst - Do as much damage as you can to a boss or to a chest.

no cc/stun/freeze - Don't use any crowd control abilities, such as traps, freeze, stun, sleep or slow.

Requirements and Registration

Honestly, if you're reading this guide, I'm assuming you're already living in 2017, and I can guarantee there are more than enough people to carry you through the main fighting bits of the dungeon, which unsurprisingly makes up most of the things you do in the whole Sky Tower (unless you count the cutscenes which essentially takes up 80% of the whole run).

Registration for Sky Tower is available an hour before the actual time the dungeon starts. The following are the times for Sky Tower 1F-20F. The time is in Eastern Standard Time (EST), so if you're confused at what time Sky Tower is in your time region, below is a link to a time converter.

Divisions 1-50 8:00PM to 10:00PM
Divisions 51-70 10:00PM to 12:00AM
Divisions 71-90 3:00PM to 5:00PM

The requirement to enter the Sky Tower is being level 60+, though you will also need to pay an entrance fee of 5 gold.

Whether you join a normal raid or a guild raid is up to you, though I recommend joining guild raids just because players there are more focused on clearing the dungeon rather than experimenting with things, as well as usually being more organized.

There are various places where you can register. You can register from the Sky Tower icon on your minimap

Or at various NPCs: Barry at Navea x345, y478

Select from a list of available raid groups, then simply click Register. Once Sky Tower begins, head back to the registration UI and click Enter, which is located directly to the right of the Register button. You will be asked to pay an entrance fee of 5 Gold, and after that, you're in!

1F - Theodore

Usually everyone just runs into the middle and immediately bursts the boss down in a matter of seconds.

2F - Mechanical Core

Same as 1F, everyone runs into the middle and bursts the boss down. Players will be randomly selected with red or blue cores, and if you collide with another player with the opposite core, you will both be hurt pretty badly. Worry not though, because if you have enough burst, which you usually do, everyone can burst the boss before the cores even start to take effect.

3F - Arcane Brazier

In this floor, those not fit for fighting will finally have a role to fulfill. People who think they are strong enough will run towards the middle and camp the tree monsters that periodically spawn in the middle. Everyone else, collect Forest Essences and use it on the huge brazier near the middle. Angry Sprites will spawn and attempt to hinder players collecting Forest Essences, but they're no biggie and very easy to kill. Keep dumping Forest Essences into the brazier and eventually you will clear the floor.

After collecting Forest Essences, use ability 1 to burn them in the fire!

4F - Fink

Everyone will run into the middle and burst dowm the boss in a matter of seconds. Pretty simple.

5F - Black Marsh

Same thing again, everyone will burst down the boss in the blink of an eye.

6F - Purifiers

There will be 7 purifiers placed around the middle. Monsters will spawn in the middle and also on each of the 7 purifiers. People will naturally spread themselves to different purifiers and a handful will place themselves in the middle to take on the stronger monsters that spawn in the middle. In the past where players weren't as strong as players nowadays, it would take a few to protect a purifier, but presently, one player is all it takes. The floor is complete when all purifiers reach 100 points.

7F - The Three Cyclops

Basic burst floor. 3 cyclop bosses will spawn immediately after each other, and basically just burst them down in seconds. Simple
.

8F - Bloodshot Karka

Everyone will run into the middle and burst down Karka very quickly, This is getting repetitive, yes?

9F - Water vs Fire

There isn't much fighting in this one. There will be a huge blue water pool where you enter. Walk into it and grab the buff, which allows you to throw a water bomb at a large fire spirit to damage it. Large fire spirits surround half the arena and they will constantly try to kill you with elongated red carpet attacks that will hurt pretty bad if you aren't too tanky. There will be Fire Spirit Ashes that will chase after players to hinder their progress, but they don't do much damage and shouldn't pose the slightest of problems. Floor is clear when all the big fire spirits are destroyed.

Use ability 1 to throw a water bomb at a Fire Spirit to damage them!

10F - Leanne

You know the drill, run to the middle and burst the boss down.

11F - The Four Elements

Everyone will spread evenly to all four corners of the chessboard like arena. After the dialogue, 4 different bosses will spawn at each of the four corners. Burst all the bosses down within 10 seconds from the death of the first boss or the entire raid party will suffer severe casualties. This isn't a problem though, because it takes only a few seconds to take down the bosses, but if you have finished defeating the boss at your corner, try to help out another corner.

12F - Aveline

First, burst Aveline as much as possible. She will eventually enter her defence phase, where she will become invincible. In order to deal further damage, everyone must locate Guardians marked with a red arrow around the arena. Once all the Guardians have been found and defeated, Aveline will lose her defence mode and will be open to attacks.

13F - Vachnam

Burst Vachman as much as you can. He will at one point solidify and start to heal up, and in order to further damage him you must defeat the 4 elite monsters that spawns. After they have been defeated, proceed to burst him down.

Also - DON'T USE CC ON VACHNAM - just makes it a bit more inconvenient.

14F - Protecting Aveline

Everyone will spread evenly to the four edges of the arena. Monsters will spawn periodically at these edges, and among the monster that spawn, the important ones are the bats. Bats will drop Bat Blood when they die. Pick these up and use it on Aveline, who is located in the middle of the arena. If you don't think you are proficient enough to fend off the monsters, just pick up the dropped bat bloods and feed them to Aveline. Floor is cleared when Aveline is fully healed.

Use ability 1 on Aveline to heal her up!

15F - Tavana

Just burst down Tavana as fast as you can. What else?

16F - Red Thorny Flower Fairy

Burst down the Flower Fairy as quickly as possible. It's getting boring for me to type the same thing over and over again too ok?

17F - Gram

Don't worry about the Golden Buff. Just burst him down.

18F - Hel

This is probably easily and distantly the most difficult floor of the first 20. Hel will only be open to attacks when her elemental form has been defeated, otherwise, she will just be invincible. In order to force her to summon her elemental form, players will have to lure her towards the orbs. Hel is considerably tanky, and so you will need to defeat her elemental form a multitude of times before you finally defeat her. If you aren't too tanky, Hel has huge AoE attacks that cover a massive distance that can easily kill weaker players. Don't be disheartened if you die a few times.

19F - Light of Dawn

This floor has no fighting at all. Just a repetitive gauntlet run that only the tanks of the team can accomplish the task. To finish the Light of Dawn, you will need to run in and grab Glimmering Crystals and bring them to the Glimmering Collection Circle. Weaker players might not be able to anything at all. Bards, just sit on the collection circle and spam heals when the tanks arrive back from collecting. Floor is clear once enough the Glimmering Crystals are retrieved.

20F - Bealdor

Burst Bealder initially a much as you can. Eventually he will enter a defensive phase where he will put up shields and heal up, becoming invincible. To break the invincibility, you must defeat all the angels and Halthim who will spawn. When the shields are down once again, burst Bealdor as much as you can.

Epilogue

That's the guide to Aura Kingdom's Sky Tower floors 1F to 20F. Yes I know, majority is just burst burst burst, but due to how strong players are now in comparison to players before, bursting seems to be the easiest and quickest method of winning.

This is my first guide and I wouldn't say I'm too good, so if I get anything wrong, tell me. And please be nice to me :)

See you in-game!!
