How To Deal With Things

For your equipment, you need:

Diamond or Lumite armor
Diamond or Lumite sword
Healing Beacon
Corrupt Resistant Potions
Health Potions

Equip it all in this format:

Armor Slots: Diamond or Lumite armor
Weapon Slot: Diamond or Lumite sword
Hotbar:

1. Corrupt Resistant Potions
2. Healing Beacon
3. Health Potions
   

To tame:
You need to use your potions in hotbar slot 1, first. Then go find a thing. Shove it into some corrupted water. Stand on a spot 1 block higher from the surface of the water. Place a healing beacon under you. Let the thing come to you. Tame it with a taming bell. Then escape corruption layer.

To fight:
Equip lots of good armor. Equip a good sword. Drink potion in hotbar space 1. Look for a thing. Shove it into corrupted water. Stand with a healing beacon under you, but the beacon is on top of a block 1 block higher from the surface of the water. Fight the thing, healing as needed. Loot. Then escape.

1. Visit the corruption layer a few times, to get familiar with it.

2. Prepare some lumite to fight.
3. Take the best healing potions with you.
4. Do not panic.
