HOW TO ENABLE NATIVE SPLIT SCREEN

Holy Christ, I just recently found out about this mod and decided it needed to be shared to EVERYONE.
I'm sure like most here, we grew up playing split screen campaign, firefight, custom games, etc.

This mod enables native split screen and actually works flawlessly in my experience. The only caveats are no custom controls (yet) and of course no online matchmaking because THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF LAUNCHED WITH EASY ANTI-CHEAT DISABLED.
On the brightside, you can still play this online through invites with friends or custom servers, all while using split screen

Anyways, onto the tutorial.

Head to this link:

Click on the latest release and download.
Once you have the .dll file:
Go to your steam installation of Halo The Master Chief Collection, Right Click and select Properties > Browse Local Files > MCC > Binaries > Win64

Here you will simply copy and paste the WTSAPI32.dll file and launch the game WITH EAC DISABLED.
Once in the game menu, connect the controllers you will be using, hit F4 to open the menu, select the amount of players/controllers you will be playing with (Up to 4) and game on! It's that easy
