How to get the TAR-21 in Campaign

The TAR-21 is Lugo's main weapon of choice throughout the campaign. He'll use it when he isn't sniping enemies, which is honestly pretty common outside of wide-open levels.









It shares ammo with no other weapons. It is fairly powerful and accurate, performing similarly to the SCAR-H. While enemies do not wield it, bullets can still be obtained for it from ammo boxes and executions.

The only time you can obtain the TAR-21 is at the end of Chapter 13. Advance through the level until the "choice" moment at the refugee camp, then move towards your objective marker until you reach a fenced area with intel nearby.



This is where you will find the TAR-21. It is propped up against a tent.



Don't go for your objective yet, as you will miss your opportunity to take the TAR-21. Outside of mods, multiplayer, or replaying the chapter, you will never get another chance to use it.



Pick it up, and the rest is up to you! You'll only be able to use it against enemies in Chapter 14. Manage your ammunition carefully, and it can carry you through the level!
