How to mod beatsaber (v 1.39.1)

download any version any beta of bestsaber off of steam (no beta required)
then go open steam://open/console using run or your browser
and execute the command download_depot 620980 620981 2179614296547473280
this will download beatsaber version 1.39.1 to the path in steamapps that it gives you.
go to that path and keep the window. then find your normal beatsaber install and keep dlc and playerdata backed up to another folder. finally copy everything from the depot install to the normal beatsaber install.
then you have version 1.39.1 beatsaber on your normal install

install bsmanager and login with your steam credentials, then find the install with a steam logo on it and then add as many mods and maps as you want!

if theres a new recommended version of beat saber for modding, then change the id at the end of the command to the manifest of the recommended version. if you cant find it google [version] beatsaber manifest id, then start digging for it

if you want to get rid of the console tab on steam, just close out of steam or restart your pc
