How to play COOP [SourceCoop Mod]
A) Join a server in the server browser (Recommended)
- Server browser - look for coop or maps beginning with "bm_"

B) Run a dedicated server
Please understand, that in order to make your server accessible over the net, you have to either:
- Port forward 27015-27030 UDP (Current status can be validated by pasting your public server address in https://ismygameserver.online/)
- Run a network tunneling service on the host, e.g. playit.gg
- Connect the host and all players by creating a virtual network, e.g. Radmin or Hamachi
- Beg the developers to add Steam networking to the game (Steam Datagram Relay)
- Server download, configuration and hosting
- Joining servers via integrated server browser
- Game launching

FAQ
QHow to save progress?
AYou have to manually choose the map (see below), but you can save & load player state with sc_save and sc_load.
QHow to change maps?
AUse sm_map mapname or changelevel mapname commands. Check this guide for complete map list.
Alternatively, all players can start a map vote by typing /changemap in chat or using the ingame SourceCoop menu.
QHow to set the difficulty?
ABy default, difficulty is set to increase by 2 per player. To set it manually, use the command sourcecoop_difficulty_auto -1 and sourcecoop_difficulty x where x is a number from 0 to infinity.
QI'm getting 'your map differs' error when connecting to a server.
AIt can mean 2 things, either you're in different branch of the game than the server or have a mod installed that replaces stock maps (like OAR Uncut).
QI'm getting 'unexpected authentication protocol 1675212' error when connecting to a server.
ADid you install SourceMod into your game client? If so, disable/remove it.
