I. Downloading the mod

The mod used to reduce the door animation is made by ThirteenAG on github, located here.[github.com]

This mod saves you ~5.2 seconds of straight door opening cinema (regular door animations last 7.6 seconds, ThirteenAG's mods animation lasts for 2.2 seconds).

You want to download the "RE0.RE1.DoorSkipPlugin.zip" file and unzip it so that you are ready for the next step

II. Installing the Mod

After having the .zip file open, locate your games files. You can find them at:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil Biohazard HD REMASTER

Once you've located your game files, take the scripts folder and dinput8.dll from the .zip file and place them into the games folder

Once your game files look like this, the mod is installed! You are now ready to play the game and waste substantially less amount of time looking at the doors!
