How to win against other players

Quite a simple one , is the pike box. Pick a Greek, get like 10 pikemen and surround some slingers and artillery with them. Back in September 2013, pike box was the ♥♥♥♥.

Getting around 12 thorax swordsmen, some cheap units to take the hits from enemy ranged units, and some light cavalry to chase down the scared sausages, will give you one of the best armies there is to piss someone off.

This is the most serious of all strategies, and people who like Roman history will be very happy to know that bringing a rather accurate legion and using it well is an almost assured victory. If yorue fighting barbarian players as Rome, start the match by saying 'gg, well played'.

Yet another fantastic spam tactic, the arty spam is probably the best one here. This is very similar to the pike box, but you rely on killing the enemy by shooting them instead of having them haplessly charge into your big long death rods. Giant ballistas have just the right ammount of swedge for this type of warfare, so theyre what youlll want to use.

Taking Brian Blessed also helps, he has great accuracy, but is currently a DLC.

Thanks to FMCR16 for reminding me of this good one. In this tactic, you literaly spam some horse archers as a nomadic faction then just run around like a LIL ♥♥♥♥♥ shooting arrows at the enemy. Very good against pike box, and good against everything else aswell.

The greatest tactic of them all- bringing a tonne of extremely rare animals onto the battle to kill people. Bring a lot of them and just charge, and victory is ASSURED!!!
