welcome to the leafi tree house where i will put you in the know about leafis. i will include info like item drops on death, and items from taming. so prepare to learn!

Standard green Leafies are completely passive mobs - When attacked or when starting to tame them, they will try to flee instead of fighting back. Unfortunately for them, they are very slow with their stubby legs, so this tactic is largely ineffective. They also are quickly out of breath, so they will also take breaks from running.

leafis spawn in forests on leaves. they are very common

When killed, Leafies will often drop (in their Loot Bags) Leafi Leaves, Vines and/or Yellow Flowers. They might also drop Sinews (more often than other creatures), rarely also Leather plus sometimes additionally Globs of Goo and Bones, just like many other creatures do.

As Pets, Leafies might like to eat Sandwiches or Turnip Sandwiches, some rarer specimen will content themselves simply with Horned Melons.

Materials that you can harvest from Leafi-pets will be pretty much the same ones as their drops if you dismiss or kill them.

autumn leafis spawn on and around autumnwood trees. they also spawn on fallen leaves.

autumn leafis are neutrel, unlike the normal leafi, when attacked or are bing tamed they will fight back, but will not attack on sight.

there are 3 types of autumn leafi, an yellow one, a red one and and orange-red one.

However, all Autumn Leafies will drop the same kind of Autumn Leafi Leaf and other typical stuff like Vines, Autumnwood Flowers and Autumnwood Leaves. Like many other creatures they can also give Sinews (quite often), Bones and/or Globs of Goo (occasionally) in their Loot Bag and also as a pet-harvest, regardless of their morph/color.

As Pets they might prefer to eat Horned Melons, Bread or Sandwiches - there is no diference in the pet-harvest of more or less modest Autumn Leafies.

mossy leafis spawn in the swamplands on and around weepwood trees.

they are neutrel like the autumn leafi, but have much more health and attack. mossy leafis cause poison damage that lasts a few seconds.

When killed, Mossy Leafies can drop (in their loot bag):

weepwood, Weepwood Flowers, , vines
and just like many other creatures; occasionally also Bones, Sinews and/or Globs of Goo and Mossy Leafis will also drop mossy leafi leafs which are needed for Poison Bombs, and will also automatically unlock the recipe for these bombs.

As Pets, Mossy Leafies might prefer to eat Horned Melons, Wholesome Bread or Sandwiches. They can be harvested for pretty much the same materials as their loot.

night leafi: night leafis spawn at night around and on most trees.

they are aggresive and will attack on sight, although they are very weak.

night leafis will burn up into blue flames on contact with sunlight and will die, but drop nothing.

When killed, Night Leafies might drop Leafi Leaf, Vines, Sinew, Yellow Flower, sometimes Globs of Goo, Bones and rarely Leather.

Once you tame a Night Leafi as a Pet, it is no longer vulnerable to sunlight and can stay out during the day without a problem. They become practically immortal.

As Pets, Night Leafies might prefer to eat Horned Melons, Sandwiches or Turnip Sandwiches.

If you look closely at the 'leaf' on a Night Leafie's Head, you can see what seems to be a 'skull' or something. It is not known whether it was intentional or not.

night twiggy: night twiggys spawn around most trees at night.

they are aggressive and will attack on sight, although an iron sword or better will one shot them.

much like night leafis, night twiggys will burn in the daylight, dropping nothing.

When killed, these night creatures can drop Leafi Leaf, Vines, Sinew, Yellow Flower, sometimes Globs of Goo, Bones and/or rarely Leather.

Once you tame a Night Twiggy as a Pet, it becomes practically immortal.

As Pets, Night Twiggys might prefer to eat Horned Melons, Sandwiches or Turnip Sandwiches.

dried leafis spawn in dunes and canyons, around cacti.

they are neutrel like most other leafis, and will attack when being tamed or attacked.

As Pets these grumpy looking peaceful creatures might prefer to eat Horned Melons, Wholesome Breads or Sandwiches.

The Dried Leafi Leaf is a crafting material that can be obtained from Dried Leafies of course, either by killing them or taming them and harvesting from them after they have become your Pets. Dried Leafi Leaf is a necessary ingredient for crafting Advanced Health Potions.

You can also obtain Bones, Globs of Goo, blocks of Cactus or more rarely Cactus Flowers and even moore rarely special Recipes like for the Barred Wood Window from these Leafies.

when tamed they will produce all the same items, except for the recipes.

Corrupted Leafies can be found on the Corruption layer deep underground, and can also spawn on any solid non-crafted corrupted block, especially corrupted leaves, but only in complete darkness (no matter if day or night). This kind of Leafies, like all other corrupted creatures, can withstand sunlight after having spawned.

Corrupted leafies are aggressive creatures, different from their brethren, the ordinary green Leafies, Mossy Leafies, Autumn Leafies, or Dried Leafies (only Night Leafies are also aggressive). Corrupted Leafies are significantly stronger and tougher than all of their relatives.

like all corrupt mobs, mineral water will harm them.

When being killed, Corrupted Leafies can drop (in their Loot Bag) Corruption Dust, Basic Health Potions, Globs of Goo, Sinews and/or Bones.

As Pets, their harvest will usually be of the same kind, just a bit more numerous. Corrupted Leafi Pets might prefer to eat either Corrupted Bread, Corrupted Soup or Corrupted Sandwiches.

as of R33 corrupt leafis take 50 seconds to tame, so if you want to tame one bring stun bombs.
