New Machines: Arc Beacon, Memory, Counter and Random Number Generator

Arc Beacon

This is just like a normal beacon (you can toggle it and paint the item and the beam separately).

In addition to that, you can decide the length of the beam, from 1 to 250 blocks.

The length of the beam cannot be controlled by other machines, you can only set it manually in the "Metadata" field.

As of right now the Arc Beam cannot be crafted, it can only be picked out of the Creative Mode inventory, but I'm fairly confident they will make it craftable by anyone in one of the next releases of the game.

Memory Gate

The Memory Gate allows storing values and sending them to other machines only when the memory gets triggered.

Value: you can set this manually or send the value from another machine such as a Number Pad. Whatever value gets received through that signal will be remembered by the Memory Gate.

Trigger: you can decide whether to trigger the Memory on True or False signals (or both). Once the Memory gets triggered, the Value will be sent to the Output.

Counter

The Counter remembers its current count which you can repeatedly increase / decrease with the Add and Subtract signals.

A good way to test and understand its behavior is to wire it to Number Pads and show the output on an Arc Sign.

It currently gets reset to zero on both True and False signals sent to the Reset slot, which I believe to be a bug. It should really only reset on True, or give us an option to pick True, False or both.

Random Number Generator

The Random Number Generator allows you to decide a Min and Max value (either manually or via signals), then generate a random number in that range every time you Trigger it (and you can customize whether you want it to trigger on True, False or both).
