Builds

Here are some buiilds with which i beated several players which used boii/arverni/tylis/suebi/rome
1. 2. 3.
Attention!!!!:Use this build ONLY in Blade Balance to counter pikes.
4.
Again this is only vs pike builds in Blade Balance!!!
5.

Formations

  1. Put 2 Thracian Nobles on both flanks with Thracian cav infront and thracian horsemen behind the nobles. Then put the slingers in the center so that they could soak enemy fire, put spears behind them and put the 3 thracian warriors,1 falxmen and 1 Thracian nobles behind them.I think that this build is best used vs Iceni/Arverni/Arevaci/
  2. Put the spears in the center and the nobles behind them. Then put the falxmen in the center with the Thracian cav infront the falxmen and the Thracian Horsemen behind them. This build is beastly vs Suebi
  3. Put the slingers in the centre and support them with 3 Thracian Royal cavalry. Then put on the flanks 2 Thracian Cavalry,1 Thracian Peltast,1Thracian Skirmisher,1 Thracian Royal Cavalry,1 Thracian Horsemen.
  4. Put the Slingers in the centre and support them with the Thracian Royal Cavalry(again the centre isjust a distraction. If your opponent ignores the centre send support to the flanks). Then put 2 Thracian peltasts 1 Thracian Cavalry 1 Thracian Horsemen and 2 falx units on both flanks.Again this is only vs pike builds in Blade Balance!!!
  5. Put 1 Thracian Warrior and 2 Thracian Cavalry on both flanks.then put the spear units in the centre.Behind them the slingers and behind the slingers put the 3 Thracian Nobles and 1 Thracian Warrior

Strategy

  1. Overpower the flanks with the Nobles and Try to hold the center
  2. The overall strategy is pretty simple rush with the spears to hold down enemy units then charge with the nobles and rek everything and in the meantime try to destroy the enemy skirmishers (you can be a little bit reckless with your cav because you got plenty of cav :D)
  3. Overpower the flanks and kite with the center (if your opponent ignores the center send supporting Troops to the flanks)
  4. Same strategy as in №3
  5. Rush with the spears but in the last moment charge with the Rhompfias and retreat the spears. When your Thracian Nobles and Thracian Warriors get a charge the hoplites or protect the slingers or the rear of the nobles and warriors. As always try to kill the enemy skirmishers with the Thracian Cavalry or try to bait some precursors(if you can do both :D)
