Strategy

This deck focuses on survival and removal as it's primary goal. Unfortunately, this is a slower deck then a normal one since all colors are used and it's power is focused primarily on high cost Plainswalkers. When drawing your hands, try to have a much mana as possible in them - at least 3. I've won games where I've had five mana cards and two of any other. If you can get out the Pyramid of Pantheon, level it up as soon as possible. The three free mana of any one color comes in very handy.

Save your Oaths of Chandra and Liliana until you need them. Their removal abilities come in very useful in the early game. That being said, do your best to limit your opponent's creature count. If they get a lot out on the field, you're probably going to lose the game.

The Oath of Nissa is probably by far the most powerful enchantment as it allows you to cast your Planeswalkers using any mana.

Use your sorceries to remove the large threats, as once you get your Planeswalkers out, they contribute a lot to controlling the field.

Don't fret if your opponent takes out a few of them. You have plenty to spare.

The deck's main weaknesses are it's slow speed, and going up against decks that can get out a lot of creatures fast. Artifact decks (especially vehicle ones) are quite hard to go up against. That being said, I've managed to win games stabilizing at three life and then coming back to wipe the board. Most of the time, when you get three or more Planeswalkers out, your opponent usually just surrenders.

In Closing

This deck won't guarantee you getting to maximum level, but at least to the mid to high 20's (possibly more depending on how well you play and how your luck vs. opponents holds out).

I am saddened that Wizards has decided to end support for this wonderful game. Although I must admit that they have been less than truthful to us in the past concerning it (bugs, how often they can patch.update etc.), they still managed to produce a fun product that was superior to all of the previous Steam releases (IMO). I still lament, however, that they never included a chat function. This really hindered 2HG matches. Besides, it's always fun having friendly banter with your opponents.

I hope that future MTG games will take into consideration both the successes and mistakes of Magic Duels: Origins, and also hope that this game won't die out too fast.

I am proud to say that I never spent a single cent on this game. I earned every card through winning my matches. I have every extra you could possibly purchase, and every card has been foiled.

Thanks for the fun, Wizards, and players, I hope you enjoy this deck!
