Protect Your Healer
There's a Heal Role!
You know what healers do right? They keep you alive!!!
PROTECT THEM!
MOST PEOPLE IN THIS GAME AREN'T DUMB! THEY WILL TARGET THE HEALER!
What happens when the healer dies? No more healing.
What happens when you can't get healed? You're gonna die.
What happens when you die? You aren't in the game for several VITAL seconds.
What happens when you aren't there for those seconds? Bases get taken, the flag is exposed, your team is down a member for combat, and you also just lost 5 seconds for your boss fight/can't defend your boss.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What happens when you stick with the healer?
Healer heals you. You live to do more damage to the enemy team.
Healer continues to heal you because you're not letting them die. You live to do more damage to the enemy team.
Healer has their ult and either paralyzes or puts a massive DOT on the field... AND CONTINUES TO HEAL! You LIVE to do MORE DAMAGE to the ENEMY TEAM!
For You Combat Healers
Oh boy... do I got some news for you BUCKO!
If you ain't healing, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING!?
Sure, Combat Healer is a thing but first and foremost:
YOU'RE A HEAL ROLE! A HEALER! KEEP YOUR TEAM FREAKING ALIVE!!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now assuming you are in a party and you can afford to be more of an offensive healer, make sure you're actually doing decent damage. If you can't pull that off, you're wasting your time, and ruining the match for your team mates.
Nervous System Rupture is good... like, really freaking good. It can cover a long distance, annoy the crap out of players, and is a good source of consistent damage.
Still use your healing seal 2... If you're gonna be using offensive based ninjutsu, have a good source of healing on you for your team.
What Should Healers Be Doing?
- If you have a defense role on your team, STICK CLOSE TO THEM! They are tanky and good at taking enemies off their allies. Assuming they know what they're doing, it will be amazing for you to keep them alive.
- If you don't have a defense role, stick to someone who ISN'T a healer. And hey! If they're all Attack roles or Ranged roles and they're smart enough to know you're the only healer, they're gonna stick close to you as well.
- Heal. Like, it's your literal reason for picking Heal Role. The fact that this must be said...
- Prioritize. Is your team competent? Play the objective as much as possible.
- Be aware. Get good at dodging. The enemy team can AND WILL target/destroy you.
- Don't use Kunai. You have a healing seal 2 for a reason. Use it.
