Rain World: The Watcher | Achievement Guide
Quick Introduction
With Update 1.5 for The Watcher, our beloved Rain World received 13 new achievements! They're not particularly difficult and you can probably unlock them all in one go, though their descriptions aren't very helpful, making it hard to pinpoint exactly what you need to do to unlock them - That's what I'll be covering in this guide! I'll describe the requirements for each achievement!
However, before we move on to the proper part of the guide, I would like to discuss a few Common Problems
Common Problems
All achievements can be earned in one playthrough and do not require completing the campaign multiple times. However, it is possible to accidentally perform actions that will block the ability to earn some of the achievements. If you plan to get everything at once, keep in mind:
>All endings can be done on one save file and should be done in this order: Ending A, Ending B, Ending C, and Ending D. It is possible to complete the endings in a different order, and while it is not a major problem with Ending A, completing Ending C before Ending B will prevent you from progressing in that ending and prevent you from obtaining The Prince achievement. Nevertheless, it will still be possible to complete the game via Ending D.
>Significant progress in Ending C (Encountering The Void Weaver 4 times) will prevent you from earning the Bad Warp achievement.
>After fully completing the campaign (Ending D), you can replay the same save file. It's not locked like in, for example, the Saint or Hunter campaigns. You'll be reverted to a point before starting Ending D, so if you're missing some achievements, you still have a chance to earn them!
>If you've accidentally done something recently that prevents you from earning an achievement, such as encountering The Void Weaver four times, you can use the backup feature in the game's settings. This will reset your progress by about 30 minutes, but it will also reverse everything you've done during that time.
With that out of the way, let's move on to the main part of the guide!
However, if you happen to forget about these issues, I'll mention them again in italics in the achievement descriptions.
Achievements
Astray
Bad Warp
To earn this achievement, you need to create a Bad Warp. Creating your own paths requires the current maximum Ripple level of 3¹. Holding Special + Up without the Karma Flower reinforcement will create an unstable path, granting you the achievement. This can also be done with Warp Fatigue. Simply pass through portals in one cycle until your entire camouflage skill bar turns purple.
This achievement cannot be obtained if the player has encountered The Void Weaver for the 4th time. This action changes the way new paths are formed, making it impossible to perform a Bad Warp
Mindless swimmers and floaters
To get this achievement, you have to die for the first time from a Ripple Spawn. Specifically, from a Ripple Amoeba, the larger, worm-like creatures. At the current maximum Ripple level 7¹, Watcher will create rifts that spawn Ripple Jellies and Ripple Amoebas. A similar effect can be achieved in Ripple Space. Just stand still, Ripple Amoebas will find you.
Through the ripple
Blossom
To earn this achievement, you need to meet The Prince for the first time. After awakeing The Prince in The Throne, meeting their puppet should grant the achievement.
For saves prior to Update 1.5 where Ending B has already been done, this achievement is unlockable during Ending D (True Ending), where The Prince gives the player a Mark of Communication
The Weaver
This achievement requires you to encounter The Void Weaver for the first time. The Void Weaver is a new character added in Update 1.5 and tied to Ending C. Their presence is marked with Golden Feathers on the region map. Reach such a region, find the golden (sealed) portal, enter Ripplespace, and follow the golden threads you find there.

A path. A purpose.
Spinning Top
The Prince
To get this achievement, you need to finish the campaign with Ending B. It's related to The Prince and requires infecting every infectable region with Sentient Rot.
Ending B must be completed before the 4th encounter with The Void Weaver. Otherwise, the player will receive abilities that work opposite to what is required to complete it, making it impossible to earn the achievement and begin the ending.
An understanding.
The Choice
This achievement requires completing the story via the True Ending (Ending D). It requires completing Ending A and C and awakening The Prince². Visiting a special room in Daemon located on the right side of the region, above the portal to the Outer Rim, should trigger this ending after meeting the requirements. This same room also acts as a progress tracker.
Comments
¹Ripple level has a variable maximum. Each echo increases the maximum Ripple level up to 9. By "Current Maximum Ripple Level," I don't mean the maximum possible level, but the current limit.
²This is a form of "safety" to prevent Ending D from being accidentally blocked if Ending C is completed before Ending B. To progress on one of the pillars in Daemon, simply awaken The Prince, the Ending is not required, but can be completed as well. It won't change anything.
Ending
Aaaaaaand that would be it!
