WorldOfFoFcraft: A new beginning

Why FoF RPG and kudos

For more than a year, El Indio has been organizing the weekly TittyTwister Teamplay Tuesday events. After creating the maps, he would always share them with me or Judge, and we uploaded them to the server.

Since Judge has recently become inactive, I had the idea to provide a web interface for El Indio so he can manage the maps and servers himself.

I quickly “vibe-coded” the backend in two days, and with the new software, it was easy to spin up servers dynamically on demand.

At the same time, I experimented with custom hats, and the idea emerged to let players unlock them using earned gold. That’s when the concept of a static FoF world was born.

El Indio created and modified maps for our WorldOfFoFcraft world. We added portals, shops, banks, and quest zones, and we hope our setup will bring some extra fun to the game.

Thanks to Targz for helping with the portal code, and kudos to all early testers.

An In-Game Community Hub Built for Fistful of Frags (Public Alpha)

We've been building something for the FoF community, and it's now ready enough to share. Harmony is a self-hosted community platform — similar to Discord, but with a bunch of FoF-specific features layered on top. Its main goal was to enable El Indio to upload his maps and manage his own server(s), but while working on that, ElIndio and I created something… different.

You can jump in right now from any Spitoon server or from TittyTwister by typing !enter (Harmony City) or !hideout (Aquacaliente).

Gold Economy

Everything runs on gold — and you earn it just by playing.
  • 30 minutes of playtime → 10 gold
  • 30 kills (human vs. human) → 10 gold
  • 20 deaths (by a human) → 10 gold

You can check your balance, see daily challenge progress, and flex on the leaderboard (all on the MOTD page).
Gold is spent on clans, cosmetics, bets, and more.

But your gold has a cap — you can only carry 250 gold in your !wallet.
So it's wise to visit a bank zone and deposit your gold there.

World of FoFcraft

This is the big one. World of FoFcraft is an RPG layer that spans multiple FoF servers, connected by a portal network.
In our world, you can decide whether you follow the path of a bounty hunter or become a lone outlaw.
Bounty System
  • Bounty hunters can claim rewards with !claimbounty after taking you down
  • Admins can manually place bounties on players
  • If a player goes on a killing spree, a bounty is automatically set — but don’t worry, that alone doesn’t make you an outlaw

Robbery & Outlaws
  • After killing someone, type !rob to steal a portion of their wallet gold
  • Warning: robbing makes you an outlaw — outlaws cannot claim bounties
  • If you enter a Sheriff zone as an outlaw, you are sent straight to jail
  • Type !lawyer to pay bail and walk free (or complete a redemption quest to clear your record)
  • Witnesses can report a robbery with !witness, increasing the robber’s bounty

Portals
Step into a glowing red ring in-game to teleport to another server. Portals link maps across the network — some are free, some cost gold. If a server is full, you join the queue and get connected when a slot opens.
Quests
Quest zones appear as colored beam rings on the map (green = quest giver, blue = objective). Walk up and type !accept to take a quest.
  • Quest objectives: kill counts, visiting zones or servers, bounty hunts, robbing players, playtime, and more
  • Quest chains — complete one quest to unlock the next
  • XP & levels — earn XP from quests; your level gates access to certain portals and features
  • Gold and XP rewards on completion (some quests cost gold to accept — buy a ticket, partner)
  • Daily World Traveler quest — hop across servers to earn a daily gold reward

Prospecting
Type !prospect at hidden blue prospecting zones — pan for gold once a day. You might find a nugget… or just dust.
Duels
Type !duel <player> to challenge someone to a 1v1 match with gold stakes. Agree on the amount, fight it out — winner takes the pot. This command is only available in saloon/cantina quest zones.
Bank
  • Deposit gold in bank zones with !deposit to keep it safe from robbers (and bypass the gold cap)
  • Multiple bank locations across the world — transfer gold between them for a fee with !transfer
  • Your bank balance is tracked per location
  • Outlaws can stash gold at the "Outlaw Hideout HQ", but the boss takes a 20% deposit fee

World Chat
Cross-server chat — players on different servers can talk in the same channel simultaneously.

Cosmetics & Fun

Hats
Buy hats with gold at the hat shop (!hatshop). This command is only available within the hat shop quest zone in Harmony City (day version). Equip with !<hatname> or with !hats, remove with !no<hatname>. Some hats require a certain level or quest completion before purchase. Only one hat at a time, cowboy.
Custom Sounds
For a laugh: pay gold to play a sound for everyone on the server (e.g. !tt for 1 gold). Admins configure which sounds are available on each server and their cost. Cooldowns prevent spam. Currently, only !tt is available :)
Insults
A list of configurable trash-talk lines you can use against opponents (!insult). Some are level- or quest-gated — earn your right to talk smack.
Gambling
We got two gambling zones. One in HarmonyCity (@night) and one in Aquacaliente. But gambling is on your own risk! I wouldn't recommend it ;-)
Maps

  • World
  • Harmony City (!enter)
  • Convoy
  • San Miguel
  • El Paso
  • Aguacaliente (!hideout)
  • Jail

This Is a Public Alpha

Bugs exist. Things will change. The horse shop literally crashes servers (so it's currently disabled). But the core — community hub, gold economy, portals, quests, clans, and servers — is all up and running.

Jump in with !enter or !hideout on any Spitoon server or TittyTwister and see what's there.

See you in Harmony City.
