Advanced Heavy Support builds
To your attention
Bullet Storm
The build itself should be something like the following :
Suppressive Fire
Wired Armor
Safeguard
Crits
2x Attack Speed booster
1x Reload booster
Minigun - FMJ, M1GL - for few players runs - or Pistol - for larger team.
Well nothing crazy but it's crazy to play ! By turning Suppressive Fire and Wired Armor on at the same time, you're able to deal a uncomparable amount of dps at the cost of some of your armor instead of tons of ammoes !
There are some hints that could help you microing your Wired Armor effectively. First one is don't get hit, each hit you take is a lot of time wasted for Wired Armor - especially if you don't have prestige, you better want to place yourself tactically in the middle of the team and make sure you stay there.
Second advice : never let your armor reach 0, if you do, the cooldown of Wired Armor is turned to 30 seconds, that can be quite a long time and many ammoes "wasted".
And last one, don't spam wired armor like if it was nothing, you have a 15 seconds cooldown each time you turn it off, when a wave begins, don't activate it for the first dog coming in, you better want to wait some extra seconds to have most of the wave on the team and then do a real slaughter for free.
Be aware using this build without doing a good use of the Wired Armor while on Suppressive Fire will just result in the team not having any ammunition left at all.
Energy Trickster
A fun build about looting, kiting, and using a big energy shotgun :)
HSLF Speed
Safeguard or Anti-Armor or Crit
Beta IV
Targeting System
Ammunition or Attack Speed Boosters
Vindicator, Pistol
This is basically just a revamp of the well known "buffbot". As a buffbot you're not here to shoot anyway. Support the team's fire early game with your pistol to clear the trash, spam HSLF to cover ground and loot like if your life was depending from it. The Vindicator here is just a big shotgun, use it in this spirit.
Though once you have Beta IV level 5, a Vindicator shot costs 15 ammoes, letting you deal a decent aoe damage - at a decent cost - for your team when you have several dogs packed or a boss running on your back.
On a side note some would want to ditch an ammo booster to carry an energy transfer, giving you less armor drain and cooldown on the energy transfer between the components, use it if you want to micro your HSLF during the game while still being able to provide your auras to the team.
If you're watching a bit, you should be able to avoid a random overcharge on your team as you have a slow fire rate. Avoid this, this is shame for a lifetime :)
Immolationer
Or mostly, support a DPS Arclite Hellfire.
Suppressive Fire
Wired Armor
Beta IV
Targeting System
Arclite, FAS-18
If you have a DPS Arclite Hellfire in the team : 3x attack speed booster
If you don't : 3x ammunition booster
It's fun to play as the only Arclite in the game, but it's really shining if you're a support Arclite. Try to run this when you have a Hellfire with at least Napalm System in his build, it's doing decent damage by itself, but your Suppressive Fire will let you stack immolation really, really - really - fast, making the Napalm of Hellfire just burning everything in no time.
Once the Hellfire is joining the group, just stay close to him and burn what he's burning or there's no sense running this !
Don't take crits with Arclite, ever, it can't do any critical damage.
As for the bullet storm, watch your ammoes, you can eat them pretty quick.
As you might see in the video, alone, without any Napalm buff of any kind, it's taking quite some time, the whole point is about supporting someone or at least grabbing the Arclite upgrade.
Also watch your overheat level, it's raising fast when you enable Suppressive Fire, overheating is a big waste of time, especially if you have one just before the reload, try to mostly shoot bursts to avoid it.
The Stomping God
The Stomping God bringing mighty Vindi Hammer, or Vindicator Juggernaut style.
Please be aware this build is working as intended only if you're playing as host.
As a client, what you will experience is "magic" damage because you will only see 1/3 shots performed by the host.
As a client, you'll be able to shoot each shot, but only the shots based on the regular Vindicator's attack speed cap will be registered, though it's dealing no damage, the slow is applied on each shot.
Suppressive fire
Wired Armor
Safeguard or Beta IV
Targeting System
Either Attack Speed or Ammunition boosters - or both !
Vindicator, Pistol - you don't need a secondary weapon, better gain some movement speed !
This build grants you the power of a living god, it's as simple as that. Vindicator is capped to 20 shots a minute - 22 with HS's native attack speed boost - and Heavy Support doesn't benefit from a component directly in link with the Vindicator, so Suppressive Fire is your best f(r)iend here, max it asap because once it's active and maxed, it's just "killing" your attack speed cap, so with at least a point in wired armor, you can fire it every second for free - even a bit more in fact.
With Targeting System level 5, you're then able to deal at minima 1k energy damage every second in aoe, with a speed debuff on the enemies.
Well I'm lying a bit, it's not free, using Wired Armor with Vindicator won't work as it will on the other weapons, it will drain one single ammo from your Vindi clip until it's empty, but well, at least you're ammo efficient.
Also be aware, I mean, AWARE that beyond your spam you still have to watch the potential energy buff that could be applied to your Vindicator, not being watching a Terminator's Energize, a Power Cell buff, or a Safety Beacon energy buff and shooting will result in a team wipe mostly. You have to actually be watching all those things, seriously one Vindicator overcharge placed on the team is the end of a game in a horrendous way.
