[Ambition Mode] How to efficiently farm materials

Inbetween battles, the things you should do are:
Invest 10000 gold on Barracks between every battle to gather facility materials
Go to the stable and feed animals for extra materials
Exchange weapon materials for facility materials at the Merchant

Be sure you have all camp symbols (fought all duels) in Ambition mode. This saves alot of time and speeds up your farming.
Start battles on Beginner difficulty and play your best character

Pick the material battles Try to gather as many materials as possible from these sources each battle:
Enemy officers
Unit commanders
Pots
Crates
These sources contain materials 100% of the time!

Now you can play Subjugation Mode (which comes after you've beaten Ambition Mode, congratulations!)
