every achievement completion guide
easy achievements/ achievements you will get naturally
you should get every achievement in this section naturally as you will have to play naturally for quite a while building up a maximum capacity vault in all likelihood. I will go over each one just in case there are issues.
"Atom Splitter", "Dine and Dash", and "project Purity" are for building and merging 3 of each of the main necessity rooms being power, water and food. you will likely get these 3 achievements within your first or second play session since to have all your dwellers working and to support the vaults initial capacity and influx of dwellers in the first hour you will need to do this
"mattress Stuffer" and "A Vault For My Vault" are for collecting 1000 and 10000 caps you will get these naturally if you stick with the slog. you earn caps from lunchboxes, daily log ins, tasks, leveling dwellers, completing quests, exploring the wasteland, finding the mysterious stranger, finding Cappy/Bottle, selling weapons, outfits and scrap, and raising special stats of dwellers.
"Home Sweet Home" is for building 1 of each room you will unlock room types as your population grows
"vault-Tec Architect" and "vault-Tec Engineer" are for building 25 and 50 rooms respectively. you will get each just by building the necessary rooms to maintain/ increase population, storage and resource gain
"A Better Future, Underground" is for upgrading 20 rooms to level 3 you will get this naturally while maintaining your vaults population as it gets bigger.
"Better Settler", "Higher and Higher" and "Overseer" are each for reaching level goals for dwellers having one at level 10, 25 and 50 my recommendation for leveling up dwellers in the late game is as you max each of their special stats equip them with a good weapon, 25 stimpak's and Radaway and send them into the wasteland for a few days they will either die in which case you can revive them and recall or they will automatically reach capacity and return on their own in both scenarios they should reach level 50 if they don't simply repeat this process.
"hard work is happy work" this achievement is for successfully rushing 50 rooms you can sit there and rush rooms over and over to reach this faster but later achievements make this relatively pointless since you will need to play a lot. this is a way to earn caps early but it can also get your dwellers killed before you have resources to revive them so i recommend only doing it a few times for each room each time you start a session.
"Prepare For The Future" make 25 babies for this as well as increasing your early population quickly i suggest you pick a male dweller with your highest charisma (if you are lucky in one of the initial lunch boxes/ starter kits if you buy it you will get a rare or legendary dweller to fill this role) and have them get with all your female dwellers if you have a charisma boosting outfit have the female wear it and swap it between if you have 2 have them both wear it. this will speed up the process you can have 2 or 3 male dwellers to speed it up a lot however in the early game this will massively hurt your resource gain since you may only have 13 or so dwellers so having 6 tied up at a time is not recommended.
Achievements you will have to work for
"Overachieve Much?" for this you will have to sign in daily complete objectives and use your free skip to get rid of ones that take a long time or have terrible rewards if you want to avoid spending money on this game I recommend you at least try every objective with a lunchbox for a reward since this can save you a LOT of money or time for a very annoying achievement i will be saving for last. if you're lucky you can knock out a few in a row with little effort especially in the late game the worst are reliant on random events.
"you're fired!", "wasteland Wanderer", "Urban Ranger", "Survivalist", " legend of the Waste", "Enemy of the waste", "big Pharma" and "smooth Talker" are all reliant on doing quests you will have to complete 10, 30 and 100 quests. kill 500 enemies and 10 bosses on quests which will happen naturally on your way to doing 100 quests. collecting 100 stimpaks and radaway should also happen naturally while doing 100 quests. and you will need to do 25 dialogue options during quests which will also happen naturally on your way to 100. in the endgame when you have 200 dwellers i recommend you have 3 quest parties of level 50 dwellers with your best weapons and armor to bang out 3-6+ quests a day
"interior designer", "Paint'n elbow grease", "decorator", and technically "more than Handy" are all reliant on you getting room themes. you can only get these from dwellers in the wasteland and quests. you will need to find and craft every room theme i believe there are 8 room themes each is made of 9 fragments so there is a 1 in 8 chance of you getting a fragment of each theme because thankfully each fragment is only tied to the room and faction. unfortunately you can get fragments of themes you have already completed before you get the ones you need so this can take quite some time you will likely get 1-3 fragments for each quest and for having a dweller in the wasteland for like 4 days. this means it can take quite awhile to find all the fragments and craft each of the themes. all that considered there were still 2 achievements that took long enough to get i aquired all of these naturally.
"weapon smith" and "Fashionista" are for crafting 10 weapons and outfits you can get this fast by crafting worthless commons or you can spend literal real life months or dollars because this is after all a mobile game originally crafting legendry's it will take an hour or so to craft commons and multiple days for legendary's and this is with 6 dwellers with 10 in the relevant stats. otherwise its about 20 nuka colas for legendarys time skip which is about 1/5th of 40 dollars if i remember correctly... yea do not spend money on this because again you will likely get this naturally because there are worse achievements.
"a little off the top" just customize 10 dwellers in a barbershop this will take about 5-15 hours.
"armed and dangerous" and "Fashion statement" these are for collecting 20 legendary weapons and outfits you can acquire these from quests, crafting, and lunchboxes
"scraptastic" once you get to the late game start collecting all of your common weapons and armor and scrap them rather than just selling them this will take awhile but you will also receive around 100 commons and uncommons for every legendary item so it won't take too long compared to other achievements
"Get off my Lawn"
IMPORTANT. this is the last achievement i got and while going for it i had a bug. i had a 200 dweller vault and a smaller vault specifically to farm raiders but at 42 raider attacks they stopped counting for the smaller vault so i switched to the larger vault assuming something made it so only it would count. there was nothing wrong with my cloud save and i validated my files with no issues found but once i did this and switched to the big vault every incident originating from outside suddenly counted toward the achievement meaning while i did have 8 or so incidents in the pool i still had about a 50% chance of it counting even still this took a long time and was exhausting.
