SOME INFORMATION

Gift Grab achievement was unobtainable for 13 years until Valve fixed it in 2025. Prior to that, it required a modded server (cheated of course). This guide will cover the instructions on how to earn the achievement legitimately below.

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Before booting/launching the game, change your PC's date to December 2011 (any year works or you do not need to change the year, only PC date must be in December). Or you can wait till December so that you do not have to change the date!
2) Then launch game and click on "CREATE SERVER" and have bots. Make sure not to equip them with any weapons except knife by unmarking all weapons so that you can kill them easily. Here is how to:

3) Once you have created a server and are in the map now, buy any weapon and find bots to kill for gift drops. Keep in mind that the gifts have a 20% drop rate so keep killing bots until they drop gifts and collect them. Repeat this 2 times and the achievement is yours. :)

MUCH EASIER METHOD

Make a bot session with 32 bots spawning in any team. Then type "bot_kill" in console when you can freely move. (To open/enable the console, go to Options -> Keyboard and click Advanced. Select(tick) the checkbox for Enable Developer Console. Once it is enabled, press (~) key to open the console.)
Collect the gifts and repeat this if you didn't make it on time. (Collect 3 gifts)
It's faster than going to bots and killing them. Note that you don't even need to set their weapons to anything.
Thanks to Vellerm0 for providing the fastest method.

CONCLUSION

Thanks for reading my guide and I hope it helped! (Awards are welcomed although it's optional)
