Shield Introduction

The shield is a very unique item in the game, but it is also controversial due to its unique characteristics
A shield can be bulletproof and may save your life in the face of a dense barrage of bullets. When the shield is crouched down, it has the nature of cover, and weapons that require lying down to shoot can be mounted on it; But shields have a high taunt value towards enemies, who will prioritize attacking shields and are more inclined to throw mines at shields. The shield also has a flawed feature: when the shield is next to a teammate, the shield will also gain experience when the teammate gains it, but the experience gained by the shield is divided from the teammate, at the cost of reducing the experience gained by the teammate. There is a term in the gaming community called 'Shield Dog', which refers to those who use shields to engage in malicious behavior, such as using shields to stick to teammates and absorb experience without pushing the line, or using shields to steal items dropped by enemies; Or using shields to harm teammates, for example, using shields to be thrown by enemies and causing nearby teammates to be bombed. In the controversial and even biased views about the special nature of these shields, I seem to see another path.

How to play shield

Shield can attract enemy hatred, so the enemy will first hit the player who holds the shield. As long as the shield does not die and is within the range of hatred (I don't know how wide the range of hatred of the shield cannot be attracted, it will be closer), as long as we keep ourselves the closest person to the enemy, the enemy will not attack our teammates. We can use this to attract firepower and protect our teammates.
In actual combat, there must be at least high firepower output behind the shield to ensure its survival, preferably a high firing rate gun or vehicle. A shield without teammates is invalid. Then be careful not to get too close to your teammates because bullets, grenades, and grenades thrown at you by the enemy can harm them. Therefore, we cannot afford to be too close and must always be in front of our teammates, keeping ourselves the closest person to the enemy. Try to keep your distance from your teammates outside the range of grenade damage. After reaching the front, be sure not to stay still. Move frequently according to the situation, stay flexible, ensure that the enemy is within your bulletproof fan, avoid explosives, avoid teammates' gun lines, and do not be afraid of death or panic, keep your shield facing the enemy at all times. When lifting the shield, it will tilt towards the left hand direction, so the crosshair should be tilted to the right. The effective bulletproof fan will increase when squatting, so it is advisable to squat as appropriate, but the most important thing is to maintain flexibility.
The greatest function of a shield is to suppress the enemy. A shield has a similar suppressive effect on the enemy. Often, they will stop and hide behind cover, which can slow down the enemy's advance, suppress the enemy for teammates to eliminate, clear the enemy, and then advance. Under the cover of the shield, it can effectively reduce the chance of teammates being hit. When there is sufficient firepower, they can simultaneously eliminate the enemy and advance.
The shield can cover the vehicle. When the shield is placed in front of the vehicle, the enemy will attack the shield first and will not remove the rocket launcher (you may have the opportunity to see soldiers holding rocket launchers ignore the vehicle behind you and put them back). When covering the vehicle, make sure that the enemy is within the attractive range and can see you. It is best to stay diagonally in front of the vehicle, as it is more likely to be damaged directly in front of the vehicle. Also, be sure to avoid the gun line, otherwise your teammates will be scolded by you when you are full of TK, and you will have to endure it. Shield covering the vehicle is an effective way to protect the vehicle and advance, but once again, it is reminded not to be too close to the vehicle to prevent grenades.
A shield provides protection against small explosives, including flash grenades, one grenade, two grenades, two infantry fighting vehicles, machine guns, and shells. When facing heavy weapons, the shield can also protect against heavy machine guns and Gatling (including the large caliber Gatling carried by the Vulcan tank).
When the shield is held in the hand and not lifted, it also provides protection on the main hand side, allowing for running and potentially attracting enemy hatred. If conditions permit, the shield can also be used to slide the vehicle, and if lucky, it can be seized by the enemy (be careful with this method as teammates may also use explosives to hit vehicles).
I really like using shields against soldiers who use TTI fighting shields. My teammate ran over and stabbed him, but he only knew how to hit me throughout the fight
Tips
You cannot lie down while holding the shield
The shield can serve as cover when squatting, and at this time, it is equivalent to the state behind the shield, with improved accuracy and the ability to use prone weapons
The enemy will prioritize attacking the nearest target, and the attraction to enemy infantry is: shield>vehicle>infantry; Attraction to enemy vehicles: Vehicles>Shield>Infantry
The enemy has a range for throwing mines, outside the throwing range and within the killing range, so if you want the enemy not to throw mines, you can face the enemy XD, but of course, it must be outside the melee range, otherwise you will be stabbed.
When the enemy throws a mine, there is no need to worry. You can move to the side to avoid the mine. If your reaction is a bit slow, you can also move towards the direction of the mine throw.
Guns with larger enemy walking capabilities (such as whiteboard machine guns and shotguns) are prone to being hit due to the floating bullets, making them easy to graze and hit. Therefore, when facing such guns, the effective bulletproof fan will shrink.
If you have reliable teammates, you only need two P90s to eliminate infantry in one direction

How to cooperate with the shield

I lack experience in this area, so you can practice and improve it. If you have any good methods, please comment below
The first big taboo is to like to follow behind the shield. If the enemy fires at the shield, bullets will fly past and graze, which may hit you . It is best to find cover or stay on both sides of the shield, keeping a certain distance from the shield. Moreover, following behind the shield can easily block the bullets you shoot. However, when there are few enemies in street battles, sometimes I can encounter someone who is very close behind me with a spray sticker. It's okay to take them all away with one shot. in a word, if you can't make sure you can take all enemies with one shot, don stay behind the shield.
When fighting with a shield, there is actually no particular rule. You should find cover and not always follow behind the back of the shield. There is only one point. You need to eliminate all the enemies around the shield and not miss a few from the side, otherwise the enemy will lose their shield by firing a few rounds from the side. Having a shield means that enemy bullets won't hit you anymore, you just need to output
The vehicle and shield should strike steadily together. As long as you follow behind the shield, you can avoid the harassment of rocket launchers. Of course, don't miss a few enemies from the side, otherwise you may find that the other side suddenly pulls out three or four rocket launchers without the shield. Be cautious when following the shield, don't rush too close to the enemy, otherwise even if the shield dies, you won't be able to avoid the rocket launcher
