Backpack Upgrade Locations

Backpacks are unique upgrades that expand the number of items you can carry in your inventory beyond the initial 70. Each Backpack increases your maximum inventory by 10.
Backpacks are found with specific traders across Amalur.
Their price will decrease as you take ranks in the Mercantile skill.

On your journey through the Kingdoms of Amalur, these are the locations where you will be able to buy backpack that will give you extra 10 slots in your inventory. Locations are sorted in a way where you will be able to find them first if you follow the main quest.

Gorhart Village > The Corner Shop - Merchant: Rikka Egest, price 7500 gold

Ysa > Asker's Alley - Merchant: Riona Helt, price 7200 gold
*Must have completed the "Old Friends, New Foes" main quest.

Rathir > Upper City > Scholia Arcana - Merchant: Wil Donall, price 9375 gold
Mel Senshir - Merchant: Ilyn Doldran, price 8750 gold
*If Illyn Doldran is murdered and the Fateless One sleeps for 4 in-game days he will respawn and his inventory will be reset. This allows the Fateless One to buy another backpack from him.

Adessa > Domus Politica - Merchant: Senecer Macit, price 7800 gold

DLC Teeth of Naros - Idylla > Idylla Market - Merchant: Ampelio, price 6250 gold
