In this guide we will not only see all the achievements but also some extras in the game, which are not always achievements.

You must defeat absolutely all the bosses in the base game on expert difficulty, after doing this you must also defeat the devil on expert difficulty

Get an S-Rank

To achieve an S rank you must meet the following conditions, playing the level on expert difficulty

• Time: Finish in under 2 minute.

• Parrys: Perform at least 3.

• Special Moves: At least 6.

• Health: At least three hearts.

Obtain an A-Rank or higher on all bosses in Inkwell Isle I To obtain at least an A- rank you must meet 3 of the 4 conditions, playing on normal difficulty

• Time: Finish in under 2 minute.

• Parrys: Perform at least 3.

• Special Moves: At least 6.

• Health: At least three hearts.

Obtain an A-Rank or higher on all bosses in Inkwell Isle II To obtain at least an A- rank you must meet 3 of the 4 conditions, playing on normal difficulty

There are 3 achievements related to parries in Cuphead, and they are as follows:

Complete 20 parries
Complete 100 parries
Parry five times before hitting the ground

These 3 achievements can be done very easily, by going to the Run & Gun at the fair in world 2. At the beginning of this, there are pink balloons that can be parried. These balloons can be parried infinitely, thus earning the 3 achievements.

Defeat every boss in Inkwell Isle IV

Obtain an A-Rank or Higher on all bosses in Inkwell Isle IV To obtain at least an A- rank you must meet 3 of the 4 conditions, playing on normal difficulty

• Time: Finish in under 2 minute.

• Parrys: Perform at least 3.

• Special Moves: At least 6.

• Health: At least three hearts.

Defeat a boss with Ms. Chalice


To play as Ms. Chalice, you must equip the "Astral Cookie" amulet given at the beginning of the DLC by Chef Saltbaker.

Defeat 10 bosses with Ms. Chalice


You can't repeat bosses

Defeat a boss with one of Ms. Chalice's Super Arts

Defeat a boss with one of Porkrind's new weapons


The DLC brings several new weapons, which can be purchased at Porkrind's Emporium on Island 4. The new weapons are: Converge, Twist-Up, and Crackshot.

Defeat all of the King of Games' Champions


Throughout island 4, several staircases will appear, which will lead to confrontations; after defeating all 5, the achievement will be obtained.

Defeat the King’s Gauntlet

After defeating all the king's champions, the next staircase will be located at the beginning of the island. Upon ascending and speaking with the king, you can undertake the grand challenge, where you must defeat all the champions consecutively without dying.

Complete your quest on Inkwell Isle IV


To achieve this, you must complete the DLC by defeating Chef Saltbaker on normal difficulty[/b[/i]

Get an S-Rank on a stage of Inkwell Isle IV

Get an S-Rank

To achieve an S rank you must meet the following conditions, playing the level on expert difficulty

• Time: Finish in under 2 minute.

• Parrys: Perform at least 3.

• Special Moves: At least 6.

• Health: At least three hearts.

Defeat a boss on Inkwell Isle IV without killing any of its minions


To achieve this, you must defeat a boss on Island 4 without defeating any of its minions. I personally recommend the "High-Noon Hoopla Fight" level.

Have 9HP at one time

There are several ways to achieve this. The easiest requires the wish from the genie Djimmi, which doubles your health (explained later). You can use it with Ms. Chalice and, during the fight against King Dice, land in one of the heart spaces, granting you 9 health. The other way is to equip the Heart Ring and perform the necessary parries, landing in all of King Dice's heart spaces.

To grant the genie's wish, you must spin in circles repeatedly. After doing so, the genie will appear and double your life in the next encounter. This can be used three times.

Find a shortcut


There are 3 shortcuts in total (one per island in the base game), the one on island 2 even gives us a coin

Defeat a boss using only the mini-plane bullets


For this achievement, I recommend facing Phear Lap, a mini-boss who appears during the fight with King Dice when landing on Space 6. Normal plane bosses are very difficult to defeat with a mini-plane.

Get every coin in the game


To achieve this, we must obtain all 46 coins in the game, including those we saw earlier that belonged to the Run & Gun.

Complete all levels without killing an enemy


To achieve this, you must complete all Run & Gun levels without killing a single enemy (with the exception of the wall of cannons in the fair level).

Defeat King Dice without taking a hit

Give in to the Devil

In the cutscene before the confrontation with the devil, choose the option to give him the souls and submit to him, thus obtaining the achievement and the bad ending of the game.

Defeat the Devil Unlike the previous achievement, here you must say no and confront the devil, completing the game by defeating him.

Survive the nightmare


This achievement consists of defeating a secret boss that is part of the DLC.

Obtain great power

After completing the previous achievement, the relic will be awakened. When used on a boss, you will have 1 HP, your weapon will be random, and many other negative effects. However, if a total of 16 points are obtained, the relic will awaken, granting many benefits, such as smoke bomb, ring of hearts, sugar, and more, all in a single amulet.

To get points it's simple: Defeat bosses; the number of points you receive will depend on the boss.

Upon reaching its final form, the achievement will be awarded.

By defeating 15 bosses or completing the Run n' Gun with at least an A- grade, you will unlock Technicolor mode (in graphics options) by talking to this NPC.

On Island 2, at this location you can find the missing member of the quartet; interacting with them will make them sing.

Upon achieving the Pacifist achievement, you will unlock the black and white mode (in graphics options) by speaking to this NPC.

After repeatedly speaking with these NPCs, there will come a time when, in the sound menu, you can choose between 2 types of music.

On island 4, we can talk to this NPC who will tell us about Ms. Chalice. Basically, what we have to do is defeat absolutely all the bosses in the game using Ms. Chalice, and after doing so, talk to the NPC again, who will give us the golden Ms. Chalice skin.
