How to be Tacti-cool
Introduction
FOCUS
You're gonna always want to pay VERY close attention while you're playing the game or you might miss something. Just in the blink of an eye an enemy could run from one piece of cover to another and you would never even see it. Also, an enemy could jump out at you and kill you while you are taking a sip of water or something. You don't wanna end up like this:
Weapon Choices
Now, most of you will probably be like "OMG SNIPER I NEEDS IT COD HAS TRAINED ME IN DA WAYS OF DA NO-SCOPED MAGIC"

But you are new to the game, you will soon realize that you are not as good at using the sniper as you thought you would be. For weapon choice, as a beginner, I reccomend you stick to either the M4A1, or the M249 SAW (Automatic rifleman class). They are both very good weapons, the M4A1 having good control, and the M249 SAW having a great deal of ammo.
As for designated marksman, try out the M14-EBR (enhanced battle rifle) because of its great range and power. M16A4 is also a great choice, as it is burst fire.
Snipers:
M14-EBR
M24 Sniper Rifle
As a beginner, I used the M24, and was pretty good at it. If you do NOT have much experience in the ways of the FPS games, then use the M14-EBR for now. After you get used to leading targets and headshotting, try out the M24 Sniper rifle. You probably won't heed this warning anyway, since nobody ACTUALLY reads the guides that much.
Pistols:
M1911A1
M9
You're new to the game? M9 it is then. The M1911A1 is powerful, but just slightly more than the M9. It also seems to have slower rate of fire (might just be my mouse) than the M9, and holds only 8 rounds at a maximum, when however the M9 holds 16 at a maximum.

Communication
If you REALLY want full communication, teamwork, and slightly more cooperation on servers, then Voice Chat (VOIP) is key. Remember what that loud extremely strange YouTuber always says,
VOICE CHAT IS KEYYYY!!!!!!
V is the default hotkey for team VOIP and B is the default key for Global coice chat.
Note that whenever it tells you "You can no longer be revived" you cannot speak to your teammates or enemies who are still alive. Only dead ones that have been secured or bled out.
Movement
Also, note that there is a button (left ALT) for turning on Tactical Mode. This makes you walk slower, keep your weapon more steady, and quiet your steps. Most of the time I only run when I need to get somewhere fast and I'm SURE it's safe. Once I get to where I need to be, I usually crouch and turn on Tactical mode to quiet my footsteps.
LEANING:
When you need to look around a corner, use buttons Q and E to lean left or right.
PRONE:
When sniping or hiding in bushes, it is also a good idea to lay down to become a smaller target and become more accurate.
