How to get Online Achievements by yourself

Important Note

These achievements might not unlock immediately upon completing their requirements. If you've finished the run and the achievement didn't pop, navigate to the Secrets menu (Main Menu -> Stats -> Secrets) and they should unlock. If it still doesn't, something is wrong.

I'm unsure if this works if you close the game before opening the Stats menu, if anyone is willing to test for this I will update this section accordingly.

The Trick

While the achievements need to be unlocked in Online Mode, you don't actually have to play with other people in order to unlock them. The game lets you start an Online run just fine with one person and - under regular circumstances - other people would be able to join in later. However, we can get around having to deal with other players entirely by just setting a password for the lobby.

Before you begin, make sure that your Input Delay in your Options is as low as possible:

Play Online & Win Online

These two are simple enough. From the Main Menu, enter Online Mode:

Here, select Public Match:

Press the Tab key to start creating your own lobby:

At the lobby creation, make sure that you have a password set with the generate password option:

Now, you're in a lobby alone and people won't be able to join even if they try. You can select any character you want and you can press the Tab key again to start the run.

From here, you're basically just playing the game normally with a tiny delay to your controls. Beating any end game boss should net you the achievements Play Online and Win Online, if they don't pop automatically, navigate to the Secrets menu as I stated in the beginning.

Win Online Daily Run

This achievement is a bit harder to do due to the nature of Daily Runs, but the steps to unlock it alone are basically the same.

Select the Daily Run option in the Online menu:

Just make sure that you select the Online option and create the lobby the same way that you did for the previous run. For the Daily Run, the character and the end goal are already predetermined, and you only have one shot at beating it. If you fail, you'll just have to try again the next day. Keep at it and you'll unlock the achievement eventually.

That's all

If you've beaten both a regular and a Daily run this way, you should have all three online achievements without ever even having to see another player in game. If you have any observations or feedback, please leave them in the comments.
