Moving: basics

In this tutorial, you will learn how to move; but we gotta start with the basics.

For PC:
W - forward
A - left
S - backward
D - right
[___] (space) - jump

For console:
left joystick - move
right joystick - look
??? - jump (may change depending on which console/controller)

Moving 2: intermediate

Now that you have the basics down, let's move on to the special mechanics of the game.

For PC:
Dash - shift; you can dash up to two times before having to recharge it. you can dash in air, but it won't recharge until you touch the ground

Double jump - press your designated jump button (space) twice to preform a double jump

Glory kill - E; this is counted as movement in my opinion because you can move a short distance instantly. Can only preform when enemies are dazed, indicated by the flashing blue and yellow lights on a demon. The lights can be turned off though, so if you want a challenge, go ahead!

For controller:

Dash - *

Double jump - *

Glory kill - *

Moving 3: finale

Now that you have everything down, you're gonna wanna know the tricks to go FAST.

1. b-hopping. Bunny-hopping, or B-hopping, lets you keep all of your momentum, but you have to be very specific. you must press your jump button in a certain time frame to keep all of your momentum

2. le meathook. The meathook is a very nice tool for going faster, but make sure to cancel your meathook last second so you can FLY.

3. heights. the higher up you are, the faster doom guy is. Combine this with B-hopping and you will be a maniac

4. the ballista. simply shoot the opposite way you are moving in the air to gain some extra speed

Keep in mind that dashing when you go super fast, as well as touching the ground or bumping into walls, will remove all of your speed. Keep practicing and be like the wind! good luck, slayers!

*i dont play controller so i dont know lol
