How to Play BOIR using Oculus CV1

No you can't walk around and grab stuff. This is a lazy mans VR. It lets you put on your headset, kickback, and play BOIR using the VR controllers.

I have a super uncomfortable chair, so my ass hurts sitting on it for long periods. Wanted to play BOIR in comfort

You will need 4 things.

Thing 1: vJoy version 2.1.* https://sourceforge.net/projects/vjoystick/

Thing 2: Autohotkey version 1.1.* https://www.autohotkey.com/

Thing 3: Auto Oculus Touch https://github.com/rajetic/auto_oculus_touch/releases/tag/0.1.7

Thing 4: My edit of the vJoy script with all keys remapped to function with BOIR. https://github.com/rajetic/auto_oculus_touch/issues/30#issuecomment-4115760963

Install things 1 and 2.

Extract thing 3 anywhere(make sure to download the blue text that says "auto_oculus_touch_v0.1.7.zip" and not the source in assets, at least i did).

Make a copy of "oculus_touch_vjoy.ahk"

name it something like "oculus_touch_vjoy_BOIR.ahk"

Edit it with your favorite text editor, i use notepad++

"Ctrl + A" then "ctrl + v" the copy of my script.

Save.

Look for the vjoy program "Configure vJoy" and change "number of buttons" to at least 14.

Click apply.

Launch your VR

Now run the script we just made

Now launch BOIR.

Boom, enjoy the BOIR in VR using your oculus touch remotes.

Don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ask me, i trialed and errored this crap. The mappings function as they should in game. The only button i could not get function was the "ovrHome" or "ovrBacK". AKA the Oculus dashboard button. Its not useful unless you have oculus dash killer though.
