Other games like Doom Eternal

these are games that heavily resemble doom eternal and i would reccomend the most.




SHADOW WARRIOR 3
this is probably the game most similar to doom eternal, but it still manages to differentiate itself from
eternal. shadow warrior 3 features ammo management, gory finishers, and grappling hook like you know who, but is also much more story focused. the writing is great and the characters are charming as well. the game is pretty short, around 6 hours, but it also has a horde mode and a new game
plus. overall, its a great game, but not worth $40. wait till sale, it goes on sale for around 20$. 9/10

TURBO OVERKILL
chainsaw. leg. yeah, its the chainsaw leg game. but seriously, turbo overkill is sick. imagine a baby from a threeway between ultrakill, doom eternal, and hotline miami. the game is still in early access, with the full release planned for may 2023, but even in its current state it'll last you a while. overall, a solid 8.5/10. https://youtu.be/u7aJMAh0T4Y






DEADLINK
a roguelite fps might turn you off at first, but you should still check out deadlink. i haven't played this one, but from what i've seen it looks pretty cool. thattravguy on youtube made a great video on it that explains it better than i do. https://youtu.be/Qx7-y_YDiSA





METAL HELLSINGER
when i played the demo for metal hellsinger during last years steam next fest, this game intrigued me. a rhythm fps featuring artists such as serj tankian from system of a down and randy blythe from lamb of god, coming from a studio nobody's ever heard of. but this game still managed to be nominated for the steam awards best soundtrack, and should have won. anyway, its a good game. https://youtu.be/NDw-ib9BDnA

i won't have as much to say about these games, but they are still great and similar to doom eternal.

POSTAL: BRAIN DAMAGED
the fact that this is a postal game should probably give you a good idea of the tone. but from the looks of it, its a bargain bin doom eternal. i have no intention of playing it; something about it just turns me off, but i thought i'd throw it in here. https://youtu.be/Jcak4em9CAg
