Ways to kill shield soldiers without using plasma rifle

Shoot regular grenades behind shield or at the feet

Use the Rocket Remote Detonation, fire the rocket behind the shield and detonate behind them. This will put them in glory kill state.

Use combat shotgun sticky bombs and fire the bombs behind or on the side of shield. The explosive damage will kill shield soldiers.

This surprised even me but the shield does not protect them from 1 lock-on rocket blast.

1 fully charged or semi charged destroyer blade can kill an entire group of them.

Remember that it only takes 2 glory kills on any enemy to recharge 1 blood punch. Blood punch does massive amounts of damage and will kill large groups of shield soldiers.

Simply shoot the rockets behind or on the side of their shields.

Once you hook onto an enemy it stuns them for a couple of seconds. For the shield soldiers they temporarily drop the shields in a stun animation. This allows the player time to blast them in the face.

Simply freeze them with freeze grenades and use whichever weapon you want to kill them in groups.

It only requires 1 chainsaw fuel to kill shield soldiers. You can use them as source of ammo in fights.
