Animal population dynamics

Hot zones / animal zones:

Animal population in a map is initialized the 1st. time the game and specific map is launched.

Hunting from ground level:
If you down more than 3 animals in one zone during the same session, the animal zone is deleted.

Hunting from hunting stand, hide etc.
If you down more than 15 animals in a zone, the animal zone is deleted as well.

What happens moving forward:
The Animal pops grow over time and will replenish eventually. -Many COTW Hunters reset the pop files to reestablish the init. pop files. --- However, you do not need to reset your map populations manually. The animal pop will grow dynamically over time.

Furthermore and most important: The animal population will continue to grow beyond the initial population.
The logics behind is not known, - but the COTW support team phrase the dynamics as follows:
Quote: " If you cultivate the animal population of your map, it will grow to be more bountiful than the baseline it started as".
I would assume that if you act and perform similar to a true hunter, then you will benefit from a gowing and optimal animal population. Down the right animals, utilize the right amo to the animal categories. Shoot only males etc.
