Two for the price of one. Each location of the cave lion canine teeth are the entrance of all the caves containing the painting required for the Art critic achievement. Lucky fellow, aren't we ?

So. This one was tricky to do.
The problem with this achievement is that even if you find all artifacts which are the mammoth tusks and the cave lion canine teeth*, but do it in multiple sessions, the achievement have high chance to not unlock itself. I say high chance because it seems that some people said in the comment section of other guides that they succeeded while some others not.

*The cave lion skulls are indeed uneccessary to unlock it.

Despite rumors saying this bug was fixed, it wasn't, in my case (and i'm playing in 2021...), so i looked out for a solution and found that you can unlock it if you do it in one save in the taiga...

Which mean ... restart from level 1, go to the Medved Taiga reserve and take all the mammoth tusk and lion teeth in one fell swoop.
"But in this game with no multiple saves incorporated, I will lose everything i did from the beginning, all my exp, my cute doggo, all my precious trophies, even my adorable diamond Canada goose ?!" you'll say in a frenzy panic.

Fret not, my fellow hunter, i tried at the expense of my own data to find a way to save my current lvl 60 and create a fresh new profile to get this damned achievement...

...And I succeeded thanks to a Youtube video by Nordeast21 for which I cannot thank enough for this tutorial !

Follow carefully everything he says and all will be fine (this is not really complicated, but i always sweat when i touch my data directly in the folders... y'know... just so I don't delete my profile permanently...)

I advise you do a test by creating a first save of your current session and then , i dunno do an easy quest or buy an item or two, to have a sensible difference and easily distinguish between your initial session and the new one , create another save and travel back and forth to see if it actually works. At least you'll have two lvl 60 saves (if you are lvl 60 on your current session ofc), better safe than sorry...

Well, with everything all said and done, and with your new fresh lvl 1 profile, let yourself get guided by...
behold, another map ! Who would have thought ? I even took in consideration if you have the tent DLC or not. Who do we thank ?

There is a total of 21 sheds but the achievement unlock at 18. But you won't leave the three remaining poor sheds alone in this cold and vast reserve, will you ?

There will only be a map with the shortest paths (once again, in my opinion) to get to every points of interest.

Ok, I'll still do an effort and give you the coordinates of one of them that I had to search for a little longer than the others because it was part of one of those that didn't appear on the map when i visited all the look-outs and when the map cleared up. And unlike the other points of interest, you had to be really close for it to appear, so you could have missed it, even if you were pretty near it during your daily hunting.

Only 3 more to go and it'll be over. And they are the simpliest ones. No coordinates needed on these ones. Pretty sure if you are coming here, you are just missing one or two of the Nenet monuments location... So here you go, just follow the thread from 1 to 10 and look at those you are missing (the coordinates are still on the map, aren't I a nice guy ?)

Nenet monuments location - Pilgrim achievement map :

For this achievement you have to find all the notes the expedition group of which Elena Khasavovna, your main contact in the Taiga, was a member, a mission that ended... quite badly for them sadly.

Same principle than the pilgrim one, here is a map arranged the ascending way from 1 to 10*, for those you might have missed.

* I think they numbered the notes wrong for the last three ones because the story and their expedition path are incoherents if you read them as they numbered them, so i put the path in the real story order, as they should have been.

Expedition notes location - Detective achievement map :

Finally, last one, that was quite a long journey, but with that you'll finally be done with your achievement hunt (for these ones at the very least).

Just like the one above, you have to find 10 notes left by a trapper, commenting his day-to-day hunt with sometimes logs of his results, sometimes some random comments about the Taiga...
