Basic Guide For CotW

When wanting to grind diamonds or rare fur animals, go to known drink zones, place tents for fast travel (optional) and if there is animals there shoot the highest level male and then it will respawn and potentially be a higher or lower rarity. The best way to farm is using the zones because that is where most animals will be. (obviously) (also i do recommend to do story missions such as medved because you can free diamonds and free rare fur animals along the way)

If an animal is usually past 200m you can sprint, when u get to 200m or closer start walking, around 150-100 usually start crouching, if the animal is alert before 150 start crouching or stay still and it'll eventually calm down. (if you have a dog i would get the trait that alarms you when animals will be spooked as well)

Use scent eliminator

Tripods should be at least 125-175 meters or more away from the zones and tents should be around 250 meters away from the zones. (can change depending on the animal but this is what I would do if you are cautious and do not want to spook animals)

Usually you should have 2/3 weapons and they should be for class 1, class 2-6, and class 7-9.

I would play every single map that you can so you can get the feel for the game and find new species (not just for one map)

Also if you have any feeders I would use them since they can help for getting certain types of species.
